    1. It was good It had a of of facts so you could paint a picture in your mind and get a sense of what Joseph was all about

I won this book in the giveaway and I was definitely the winner What a wonderful read The story was captivating and kept my interest It is so sad because, even though this happened back in the 1800 early 1900 nothing has really changed I wonder after reading this book how much our society has actually learned about tolerence and embracing other cultures and their beliefs I found Chief Joseph an amazing and patient man, all he wanted was peace for his people and to go home to their land He loss s [...]

This was an interesting introduction to the life of Chief Joseph It definately did not take the U.S Government s side, though I felt it was probably fair to those white men who did try to help the Nez Perce tribes get a fairer deal It was mostly heartbreaking to hear how Chief Joseph tried time and again to argue for peace and reason, only to continually get broken promises Worth reading for an overview of the plight of these native tribes around the time of the Civil War.

    4. Currently enjoying this title as a family, while we are on vacation in Oregon s beautiful Wallowa Mountains.
