For those either too young to remember Charlie s Angels in its hey day, or the rest of us for whom the campy detective series holds a special place, author Rick Copp of The Actor s Guide mysteries introduces a delightful, entertaining trio of middle aged lady sleuths, known as the LA Dolls, who are sure to charm both ardent fans of the genre and new audiences alike, with Fingerprints and Facelifts.During the 1980s, Dani, Tess and Claire were a young, successful team of private investigators who [...]

    2. I read Rick Copp s Fingerprints and Facelifts, a book I d had for a couple of years It s supposed to be a take on a Charlie s Angels type story, albeit with three middle aged angels three women who worked together as private detectives in the 70s Fast forward 30 years The team has split One is now a wealthy socialite with a beautiful, jet setting stepdaughter , one is a housewife married to a professor with two handsome sons , and one is in the upper ranks of the San Francisco Police Department [...]

    3. Forget the Charlie s Angels movies, this book is the true heir of the Charlie s Angels TV series Read this in preparation of reading mysteries written by Cobb and his sister under the Lee Hollis name Would love to see this series continued in some form.

    4. I should have know this book would be crap by the author From now on, I ll check out the author s previous work before I waste my time reading such trash.Any one who wrote the Brady Bunch movie should not be allowed to write novels

    5. Entertaining, sort of a Charlie s Angels grown up A great vacation read Nothing like ladies my age chasing after the bad guy as if they are still in their early 20s My sister in law wanted to read it after me so I left it for her.

    6. This was one of the worst books I ve read in a while It was positively silly without even meaning to be Argh
