    1. Set in New Orleans during the late 1800 s, this is a very interesting story that involves many things international trade with China, societal expectations for men and women, medical schools during that time period, drug smuggling, kidnapping, faith in God, and romance The two main characters, Abigail and John, were wonderful to read about John changes so much during the course of the story, and there is intrigue and suspense near the end Definitely a worthwhile read

    2. It was terribly darling I loved it The characters were extremely unique and very well developed The plot was interesting and the dialogue was very witty and perfect I am sooo soo glad I read it Who is reading every book by Elizabeth White now This girl
