    3. Enjoyed this book I have not read the original novel, nor seen the Disney film so I cannot compare this book to either Standing on its own though this is a decent book for children I suspect the ending of the book is not what happens Victor Hugo s classic, but then happy endings are what one expects from a Disney film Moreover, its intended audience wants a happy ending So Disney has given them one Personally in this day and age I find the ending appropriate It says that a person should be a per [...]

    4. In this book, Quasimodo, the town s outcast bell ringer, forms a friendship with a gypsy, Esmeralda Frollo doesn t like gypsies and plans to kill Esmeralda Quasimodo helps Esmeralda and saves her from Frollo and Frollo eventually dies instead This book is longer and harder to understand and may not be appropriate for younger readers I would use this as a free time reading book for around the fifth grade level.

    5. Title The Hunchback of Notre DameSeries Author The Walt Disney CompanyGenre Children sRating 3 stars I read this as a child Back then it wasn t a huge favourite of mine, I much preferred other Disney books like The Lion King, Oscar and Friends, 101 Dalmatians I am sensing a theme Anyway, still a good book, but I think I d have to read it again now I am older and can appreciate the storyline .

    6. The first time I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame was in 1999, during the Library period in the Third Grade It was the only time our teacher let us finish a whole Disney movie before letting us out.I haven t watched it since then I must.

    7. another one i read in the waiting room when i was bored and another one i would not have given a child it is horrid, the characters were dull in this the development was non existent much better kids books out there that havent destroyed classics to exist.

    8. Soooooo depressing for Disney I did like all of the gypsy colors and excitement but the whole story overall did not have the Disney happy feel to it.
