    1. I enjoyed the book, and the message is very clear from the elder women of varying native American Indian tribes I am part Cherokee myself, but I found parts of this book to be a bit preachy I assume that is the wishes of the author, basically worth the read.

    2. I really appreciated the way this book was written It is a collection of conversations with Elder Women of Native Nations It is beautiful, and the author takes no liberties in editing their speech patterns, he just lets it be said as it was meant.

    3. Really interesting collection of stories by and about native women The stories cover all aspects of womanhood and what their lives are like.

    4. This is an amazing book, told in their own words, spanning as many topics as generations Puts a modern face on Indigenous peoples that we NEED to see.
