    1. The manga is aimed at a younger audience, so is definitely not as dark as the original If you aren t familiar, Majora s Mask was a video game that came out in 2000 yes, it s been that long that became rather in famous for its heavy themes of death, depression, isolation and loss It was also absurdly difficult, and it s been analyzed to death by people because of all the weird symbolism. This comic was a load of fun the art s true to form, most of the iconic characters get their moments, and it s [...]

    2. This book was astounding to me And probably to a lot of other people too This book was based of the hit Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda, Majora s Mask Which was the sequel game to TLOZ, Ocarina of Time Yet this game book had a much different tone than any other Zelda game book The other books had some sort of humor, adventurous, and all around happy feel to them, all while still maintaining a set goal This book game was different though It had a dark and depressing feel Which isn t really a bad [...]

    3. Ugh, I was so disappointed in this Maybe I just went into it expecting too much this is the first Zelda manga I ve ever read But it was terrible compared to the game The art was impressive, but the writing was awful maybe that s just the fault of the translator, but the game was translated, too, and the writing in that is beautiful I wanted the manga to explore some of the deeper and darker themes of this unique Zelda game, and instead it just told the story in a simplified and much less poignan [...]

    4. The Legend Of Zelda Majora s Mask is a Japanese manga about obviously the Zelda game Major s Mask The story goes that Link is on his way to find Navi in the forest and he gets ambushed by the Skullkid or Stalkid in this manga Skullkid takes Link s Ocarina of time and leads Link of a cliff and into the world of Termina Link must then get Majora s Mask back from Skullkid and save the land of Termina from the moon that will blow up the world if it crashes into Termina in the next 3 days Altogether, [...]

    5. This is the first of the Legend of Zelda mangas that I ve read which means I m reading them out of order, but it was the first one I grabbed out of the boxed set that my brother bought me for Christmas , and while it seems that they re meant for a fairly young audience, I enjoyed the simplified telling of the video game plot The manga was released in chapters at roughly the same time that the game was released in Japan, so a lot of the story is conjecture, and the book contains a non canonical s [...]

    6. In the 2nd book of Akira Himekawa zelda series, Link is no longer in Hyrule, but Termina He must save four giants You must read this if your intrested in manga, and The Legend of Zelda

    7. The book follows the same plot as the game cutting down on what is shown of the temples and is a great way to view the plot of the game I think the book helps build characters and to me is a one sitting book My only real complaint is that they pushed the love story side quest stuff to the forefront which was lame Overall, if you like zelda and have played the game, this is the book for you.

    9. That book was WEIRD Kafei is MUCH cuter and less annoying as a kiden again so is linke storyline was creepy and I didn t really like it very much

    10. The Legend of Zelda Majora s Mask il seguito diretto di The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Se nel videogioco lo s intuiva, nel manga il riferimento esplicito, accentuato dall inedita vicenda iniziale che ci presenta Link come un bambino capace nell arte della spada al punto d essere convocato per insegnare le tecniche ad altri condottieri adulti , ma come molti gi sapranno, pi che enfant prodige la sua abilit deriva dall esperienza di Ocarina Of Time , dove ha salvato il mondo di Hyrule e sconf [...]

    11. This is the last of the series that is about one of the games I have actually played or even seen played , so from this point on I m in new territory. As far as this manga goes, I think it was done very well I m not sure if this is mentioned in my previous reviews, but this is the perfect play through I mean, I don t know anyone who went through Majora s Mask without having to go back in time at least once to get everything you need I will say, the storytelling in this manga was fantastic I spen [...]

    12. This is such a good adaption of the Majoras s mask game into a book, while parts of this is different the story is amazing and easy to read Not only this but the graphics in it is great and one that you need to check out The bonus story at the end to explain where the mask came from also makes this a must read for me as even if it isn t true it does give you a little bit closure about the whole story.

    13. Loved this book One of my favorites in the legend of Zelda series Beautiful art and immersive storyline Can t wait to read of the Zelda manga.

    14. Not the best in the series by a long shot The source material had a little potential than what was realized in this book.

    16. The Legend Of Zelda Majora s Mask by Akira Himekawa is about a boy named Link who is on the search for his fairy friend Navi While wandering through the forest in search of Navi, he meets skull kid The devious Skull Kid steals the Ocarina Of Time from Link and turns him into a Deku Scrub Link then ends up in the world of Termina where he has to go through four temples to find a special power that will help him defeat Skull Kid for good and save Termina. The theme of this book was that not everyth [...]

    17. Majora s Mask is, admittedly, not my favorite Zelda game Of course, among the monuments of gaming perfection that are Skyward Sword, A Link To The Past, The Wind Waker and Ocarina Of Time, the latter being the predecessor of Majora s Mask a tough act to follow for any game , it is no wonder why this game doesn t exactly figure among my favorites, or even in the medium favorites with Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass When it came to the game, the rushed gameplay and storytelling tended to b [...]

    18. This book continues the story after Ocarina of time.Hyrule is now safe from all evil.Link has banished the lord of darkness to a place that will make sure he never comes back.r now.Links put back the master sword and is sent back seven years to the way is used to be.There s just one problem.Navi, his fairy friend is missing ohe continues his quest to find his old friend.Buton the way there he has a run in with the sly lonely Skull Kid.He knocks link out and takes his horse and the ocarina of time [...]

    19. The Legend of Zelda is a video game series that most people know, and many have played at least one game of Majora s Mask is the sequel of the very popular Ocarina of Time, and is known for it s darker style.I love the style these Legend of Zelda volumes are drawn in they suit the series and overall, make for a good read and portray the characters well The character designs are great and are easily recognizable from the games, which is a major plus. One thing I must say is that I am surprised by [...]

    21. The Book ReviewPrologueManga book based on the freakin AMAZING video game Majora s Mask Format Manga Book Chapter One The NegativesMaaaan i wanted to like this SOO MUCH but ultimately it was just too short The boss battles temples were mere footnotes and the sides stories largely ignored A real shame Chapter Two The PositivesIt s Majoras Mask Some really cool visuals and a few new perspectives on an old story Chapter Three Best CharacterYou know what Probably Tatl Should of been Link, and he was [...]

    22. This book is a adaptation to the game Legend Of Zelda Majora s Mask It follows links adventure through the land of Termina The story begins with Link looking for a friend but then he meets a skull kid that steals his horse and instrument named the Ocarina Of Time Link then finds out that he needs to save the Termina from destruction by a falling moon in 3 days I didn t like the way the author made Link complete all four dungeons and defeat the boss Majora in 3 days while in the game its impossib [...]

    23. This book is about a boy named Link.He was muged while riding his horse in the woods, by a poor, crazy kid.The kid had took his horse, Esponsa, and his ocarnia ocarnia a musical instrument with magical powers He finds the kid that took it and the kid put a curse on him He then turned into a wooden puppet looking thing The kid thyen disappears, leaving Link like he is Link then goes to a town a finds out that the world is about to end in 3 days He then finds magic man that can take the curse away [...]

    24. More than any other, this series motivates my tween sons to read Majora s Mask is their top favorite My eldest says it s because of the creepy atmosphere, with the moon about to crash into the planet. It s not necessary to read the books in order The boys read this volume before the others, and this is the only one I have read I read it aloud at the boys insistence, even though they had read it alone multiple times I enjoyed it it was quite a page turner at times The only thing I didn t like was [...]

    25. A nice, albeit somewhat hurried and overly condensed adaptation of the video game cult classic The art style is excellent and does good justice to the style of the original game The game is, by its time traveling, repetitive nature, a hard thing to adapt for a linear narrative, but the two artists behind this adaptation have done a good job, although some conspicuous shortcuts have been made in the process The original side story at the end of the book deserves a special mention It is totally se [...]

    26. Majora s Mask, I don t know what it is, but you are very appealing I have read other manga about video games, but you just sum up all of the Game Play into one 200 page book, which I did not think was possible, then you add I will always have you on my book shelf no matter what From the start, you immediately rush us into the stealing of Majora s Mask, and how the happy mask salesman warns him not to Then Link, the main character, rushes into Termina as a Deku Scrub Then he is given three days [...]

    27. I have heard nothing but good things about the Zelda manga series by Akira Himekawa team, and this volume did not disappoint I am only really passingly familiar with the Zelda mythology and the plot of this game, so I think the creators did a good job in giving readers an encapsulation of the experience Like the game, the plot is much darker than a lot of the other Zelda adventures, and had some very interesting elements with the masks and different zones where Link has to defeat the various mas [...]

    28. I actually enjoyed this adaptation than the Ocarina adaptation as there wasn t as much needless filler was that Watarara storyline really necessary Like in the game, Link is trying to stop the Moon from destroying the world while getting back home It does a fairly decent job adapting the game while making slight changes. One nitpick however, is that things do feel a bit rushed here One example being the omissions of the temples Instead, the bosses just appear out of nowhere, Link defeats them, [...]

    29. This book was truly exceptional The Legend of Zelda Majora s Mask was a fantastic video game and the manga adaptation exceeded my expectations It is a bit removed from the complete game storyline, but goes in depth with certain side stories and adds a bit context I personally really enjoy that the Anju and Kafei relationship seems like a much bigger deal than said in the game itself The story progresses smoothly along, much quicker than the game allows, and gives you a chance to really pay att [...]
