    1. This is my favourite Beth Good romcom by far I couldn t put it down Daisy Diamond is a celebrity actress fleeing her glamourous lifestyle for a few short weeks, to return to her home town in Cornwall, to house sit for her parents There she quickly runs into her childhood sweetheart Nick Old, and sparks begin to fly This story has all the usual Beth Good humour, but with some much weightier issues that really ramped up my emotional involvement I read this story within 24 hours, even though I had [...]

    2. This book was shorter than I expected and moved quite quickly. That said I had a certain amount of trouble with this book The characters were a bit flat, the scenarios in this book were ludicrous and there were so many missing words making incomplete sentences that I glazed over at one point At times it could be sweet but it was a bit too far fetched most of the time that I feel a bit up and down about this book I genuinely came away thinking huh I doubt I ll go any further with this series.

    3. I had to stop reading when the two women in their late 20s started panicking about bottom cancer when one of them felt a lump in her wetsuit which turned out to be a forgotten sock It was not comical It was simply cringe worthy and very off putting It made both woman appear to be total idiots without a single brain cell Why do authors write adult women with less intelligence than a ten year old

    4. A totally self involved main character spends so much time mooning over a lost love that I wanted to smack her However there was no sex, though a couple of times it was close, which made this a quite refreshing change And the ending was sweet so almost made up for the angst of the main part of the story.

    5. I know better than to pick up a book with some sort of sales y tag line in the title They are NEVER good What s the saying If you have to tell people you re a lady then you are not a lady But the premise of a bookseller story set in Cornwall sucked me in Two stars.

    6. A pleasant little novella that was ideal for spending time sat in the garden Easy to follow light hearted reading.

    7. WonderfulFrom the start you are drawn into the characters and the story So glad that daisy and nick got together, love conquers all

    8. Lovely little storyThis was a lovely read Easy and put a smile on my face It s nice to lose yourself in a book
