    1. Play Your Heart Out is the 4th standalone romance in the Sinful Serenade Series. After moving to California from New York to move on from a horrible break up and betrayal, Jess James has worked day and night to pay for her student loans and to save up for law school One night, she was left by her manager to stop a couple from having sex in the bathroom or rather, ask them to take it somewhere else When she opened the door, she is faced with none other than Peete Steele, the bassist for the band S [...]

    2. I received an ARC from the author for an honest review Finally Pete and Jess I have been waiting not so patiently for Pete Steele and I was not disappointed My favorite so far.Pete plays the bass for Sinful Serenade He is usually pretty private with his personal life but after his break up with his long time girlfriend he just starts whoring around His manager decides that he needs a good girl to help his image That s where Jess comes in She is a good girl trying to get into law school They make [...]

    3. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review Brooding, sexy bass player Pete Steele doesn t plan on following in his band mate s footsteps, a relationship isn t for him, banging chicks is Except his manager has their next album hanging over his head and it all hinges on him picking up a girlfriend Jess James is making it on her own, she may have a pile of debt ahead of her as she takes on Law School, but at least she s not lying for her family any or stuck with her controlling ex When she runs [...]

    4. I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review Play Your Heart Out by Crystal Kaswell is book four in the Sinful Serenade series This is the story of Jess James and Pete Steele Jess is working in a bar to make quick money to help pay for law school While there one day she meets Pete who she happened to interrupted him when he was having sexwith a groupie Pete and Jess start a friendship of sorts where he wants her to pretend to be his girlfriend for a whil [...]

    5. Totally worth the wait Pretty sure I m in love with Pete then I was to begin with, and I think Jess rocks She s one tough cookie Definite recommendation for this, for the whole series, actually D

    6. Not sure why this wasn t my favorite because Pete has been this guy from all the series Lots of phone sex with mysterious girlfriend, his otherwise quiet intense behavior, and sex in public places I didn t love Jess I was ambivalent and I think she had so many issues on her shoulders I think the father issue was used too much all at the end The sister as well Maybe if it were just one but the angst of dealing with possibly Pete breaking up with her and her family issues was a lot and not used ef [...]

    7. At time I loved this story and other times, not so much The sex was really raw and the repetitious use of the f word quickly became annoying Pete has really great reasons not to trust in a real girlfriend boyfriend relationship because of his childhood Pete was blackmailed into this situation by his sleazy manager and Jess agreed to the deal It began to get tedious every time Jess begged Pete to love her If you have to beg a man to love you its time to move on.

    8. I know I said Tom and Willow were my favourite, but I ve officially switched teams I need Pete in my life This was my favourite of the 4 books by far and I loved the chemistry between Pete and Jess.Full review to come

    9. With this fourth installment in the Sinful Serenade series readers are once again swept up in the lives of these larger than life musicians and the women who connect with them, issues and all The romance between Pete Steele and Jess James may start out under the guise of a lie but it quickly becomes apparent that these two are a match made in heaven if Pete can put his past to rest and take a chance on love one last time It s a rocky journey though, with lots of steamy interludes and feelings ke [...]

    10. There are books that can be read as standalone those that should be read as standalone yes even in a series those exist and than there are books like Play Your Heart Out by Crystal Kaswell. You will be perfectly able to read it as a standalone I mean I did it it was my first in that series BUT to be honest I regret itWhy easy answer because I spoilered myself right in the middle of this amazing series and I know now already too much of what I missed out because I did not read the first books Sure [...]

    11. This book was amazing I love the guys of Sinful Serenade This is base guitar player, Pete s story To see the transformation in Pete from the beginning when he wanted to find happiness but did not think it was for him to his developing relationship with Jess was so well done One I started this one, I could not put it down I liked how it included the rest of the band we have grown to know from the other books in the series Was given an ARC for an honest review.

    12. Amazing Love these books Love how they all link together but are separate stories as well So page turning I truly wanted to know of things worked out Love this author

    13. Okay I have gotten a bit feisty in my reviews for this series as it progresses and it doesn t look like it is going to stop Phew where to begin Jess first meets Pete as he is literally plowing another woman in the bathroom of the restaurant she works in Kind of like Miles come to think of it Pete has just been betrayed by his girlfriend of 6 years and his best friend Jess s sister had recently went and screwed Jess s boyfriend and then started a relationship with him These two were going threw s [...]

    14. Pete seemed very mysterious throughout the other books in the series I couldn t wait for his story to find out what he was about He seemed to be a loner and kept to himself The most you know about him is that he likes phone sex but you really don t know why he is the way he is His long standing girl friend cheated on him with his best friend so he feels like he can t trust anyone except for his brother Tom and his mother Ophelia For people that were so important to him they had no interaction wi [...]

    15. Great I chose this rating because this was a very good book I really enjoyed it And I really loved all the characters At first I thought it was a little strange that Pete needed lady on his arm That he asked the lady that he met at a bar to play his fake fiance I thought that was really strange but I guess you know what you know when you feel it in your heart that s the right person to do what they need to do for you And I knew what was gonna happen after all was said and done, Jess was going fa [...]

    16. It s official I m in love with these books I have been just binging them on my weekend off I can t seem to pull my hands away from my kindle It s love I m even finding myself trying to make this review short so I can read the last book I recommend this series to anyone who loves music and romance I promise you ll be sucked right in this world like the rest of us Pete and Jess were easy to love Their relationship felt so intimate from the beginning They didn t hold back from each other I love how [...]

    17. Jess meets Pete while he s having sex in the bathroom at the bar where she works The interrupted lover, knocks her over, breaks her glasses and Pete agrees to replace them.Pete has an image issue and wants to pay Jess to be his fake girlfriend and we know where this goes.My issue with this series is that the single POV never lets you into the guys heads, and the women aren t strong enough to carry the story.

    18. I liked Pete I liked how these two characters were introduced with her seeing him with the slut in the bathroom and having to break up that This was the book that made me want to read all of the series I had actually started this one and decided to read the previous books first Good idea I really liked a couple of the earlier books Now, Jess was not my favorite I didn t like that she started taking all this money from Pete immediately Yeah, she tried to act like she wasn t a gold digger and she [...]

    19. I m giving this one 3.5 stars, not because I didn t like the story or the characters to be honest I think Pete was my favorite of the group I just found that there were parts of this story that dragged a bit I did like that Pete didn t take as long to come to his senses as the other buys and of course the HEA is always great I felt like Jess expected too much from Pete, way too soon and with little explanation Glad it worked for them in the end though.

    20. Have it in Audio Heroine is Meg Hero is Peter Tom s brother from book 3 Pete loves phone sex He had it with his girlfriend when he was traveling He caught her cheating so after that he was getting his rocks off another way At a bar he was balls deep in the bathroom That is where Meg caught him and one thing lead to another and you need to get it and find out

    21. Just about 4 stars I love this series, but this wasn t one of my favorite books in it That award goes to my boy Tom Xo This book was good but not good enough to be the last in the series With that said, its a must read bc you really grow to love these guys

    22. Awesome Pete the dark horse in the game, but the best one yet And sweet Jess Who d have thought that these two would fit So sweet Loved all these books If only real life was like this Sigh

    23. And now I ve finished the series, what am I going to do No sexy, moody rockstars No kickass girls who keep their hotheaded partners from smashing shit I loved this series I honestly did It just makes me smile

    24. Sex, love and rock n roll Love this serieseach book gets better and hotter Crystal Kaswell rocks with the best Highly recommend this series Cant wait to read about the guys and the women that captured their hearts

    25. Aww, poor, broken Pete His walls were up very high and Jess turned out to be a formidable partner with her honest and her willingness to stand up for herself I really liked their emotional relationship and holy smokes was Pete s dirty mouth a fun element to this story

    26. I loved Pete s story It was funny, evocative, and heartwarming with just the right touch to his romance I love how Jess met him at her work I thought that was the funniest and most interesting way for the couple to meet.

    27. This one was my favorite in the series, although I thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series I blazed through these on audio.

    28. Erotica written in the dialogue of a sixteen year old, who in the world talks like that I won t be reading the rest of the series.
