    2. DNF 69% Wow This book was something else Sometimes a book just doesn t work for you, even when you wanted it to The author seems to have a thing with this series and dudes who cheat In the first novel we had Caleb who was the piece on the side with his married boss and Trent who just had sex with anything that moved I got them , maybe because they were adults and I was forgiving with their actions I dunno I got Thomas in the beginning, wanting to just lose his v card before college so it was on [...]

    3. Some young people are na ve, they make mistakes, and sometimes they don t even seem to learn from them until many years later The two main characters in this story certainly cause their share of pain when they ignore who they really are and try to be what others expect of them Thomas and Rem are in college when they first meet and, similar to the men in book one of this series, neither of them wants a relationship Their attraction keeps pulling them together despite the fact that Rem has to be s [...]

    7. This just wasn t for meLet me start by saying that Caitlin Ricci is hit or miss for me I ve really loved some of her series like The Watchers and Master of Dragons and Patching Up but this was a total miss for me.The premise was interesting that s why I chose it to review a planned loss of virginity to a one night stand goes wrong when they end up being roommates Warning from here on out spoilers abound I don t usually like to give spoilers but I have to in order to explain my review I didn t un [...]

    8. This might have worked better if there was a length of time where Thomas Rem were friends fighting their feelings Instead it was slam, bam, thank you man Then insta love, at least for Thomas I couldn t see why Thomas fell for Rem, especially after he learns that Rem is a deplorable bastard

    9. Blog Post lovebytesreviews 2016 04 0The night before he is due move into his college dorm Thomas Maloney decides it s time to lose his virginity He gets invited to a party and spends all night looking for a likely candidate who he finds right before leaving As it s a masked party nobody really knows who is who so everybody has let their inhibitions go, the amount of alcohol flowing doesn t hurt either Thomas can t believe he found someone so good looking and practically perfect to take his virgi [...]

    10. Review can be read at It s About The Book2.5 starsI m just going to say from the beginning that cheating is something I do not like to read about Some books it s there and I don t like it but most characters can be redeemed IMO There s a sense of wrongness a person acknowledges so we can move forward In this book the cheating was an ongoing reality Rem seemed fine with Rem is bi and has a girlfriend but also can t stop sleeping with the other MC and college roommate, Thomas Thomas isn t the firs [...]

    12. 4.5 stars due to the ending but rounded up because overall I did love this story.Once I started this little gem, I couldn t stop until I finished Thomas jumped out and grabbed ahold of me He was sweet, level headed, out and proud, and was in love Rem was a bisexual but had to keep that part of him a secret due to becoming a top draft pick for the NFL As much as I wanted to hate Rem for having a girlfriend and hurting Thomas, I just couldn t We all were or are young and need to drive the roads of [...]

    13. I started this book this morning I have to say it turned out so much better then I thought it was going to be I could not put it down The two main characters in this book is Rem Remmington and Thomas Thomas is a small town boy from Colorado who has moved to Miami to go school He is this out and proud gay man who has not had to put up with any kind of discrimination in his home town or from his family who loves him completely The night before moving into his dorm he went to a party with the inten [...]

    14. This is the story of Thomas, while off to college in a new city decides to lose his virginity at a party before college starts next week The hottie he hooks up with ends up being Rem his roommate and closeted football star with a steady girlfriend Even knowing it s wrong, Thomas can t get enough of Rem and they continue sleeping together Rem and his girlfriend end up getting some pretty shocking news and as Thomas sees that Rem will never be in a position to come out for him he leaves college an [...]

    15. About Last Night Thornwood 2 by Caitlin Ricci4 starsM M RomanceTriggers Derogatory slurs, cheating, adoptionI was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads. This was both sweet and frustrating in equal parts for me I loved the story of Rem and Thomas, but it did have it s moments where I wanted to smack their heads together and ask when enough was enough.Thomas was outgoing, lovely and a super gentle soul Despite having some moral dilemmas at the beginning of this story, overall [...]

    16. I m between worlds on this book hence the three stars. The writing though good is bizarre One of the main characters Rem will probably score the crown of man whore elite of 2016.He has cheated on his girlfriend with men for years until he meets virgin Thomas who he drunk f% ks at a frat party Thomas later becomes his roommate they continue screwing while Rem still has sex with his girlfriend Stephanie.Thomas falls in love but Rem his girlfriend eventually marry.Thomas than has an emotional teleph [...]

    17. About Last Night is the second book in the Thornwood series by Caitlin Ricci I adore Ms Ricci s work always a lot of great emotion and story for me to sink into This book is no exception.Thomas comes from a very small Colorado town Doesn t want to go to college with his V card still intact He just wants one night of sex I liked Thomas He is young, but he is still got a great heart and sweet personality.Rem he is a closet gay Star football player He wants a change to play for the NFL He has a gir [...]

    18. I did struggle with this one.Firstly, first person not really my favourite style and certainly at the start it did keep me from immersing in the story However that did pass. The story was a bit odd yes, late teens off on their own for the first time equals many stupid things likely to happen What got me mostly was Thomas naivety and how over the years it didn t go away all Rem had to do was crook a finger and all was forgiven and forgotten and Thomas ran to him.Rem s shenanigan s didn t unduly su [...]

    19. Where did the ending scene go Where are the consequences and reactions to that last statement I just don t know what to say I somewhat liked the book and was contemplating a 4 star rating even if I weren t all that thrilled about Thomas and Rem The lack of ending sealed the deal on a 2.5 rating The story is well written even if I didn t like the cheating I even found the characters to be unlikable and irritating at times The only one I really liked through out the book was Angela as I found myse [...]

    20. Stuck with it because I did engage with the characters even Rem but ultimately couldn t get passed the cheating Its a deal breaker for me.

    21. The MCs are, respectively, a pathetic doormat and a pathologically selfish, unfaithful asshole who cheats on everyone he s involved with.
