New Jersey Me is a clumsily written coming of age story It s really a string of incidents slapped together with no real logical transition from one thing to another There s a bunch of random weird stuff, like freeing circus monkeys and lead vests to protect against radiation from the power plant, but these just make the randomness of each successive incident all the pronounced.

    2. I m not going to say that I disliked the book because it s bad I dislike the book because it does not fit my personal reading preferences.

    3. Okay fictional coming of age finding himself story of a young Jersey man finding himself and a life to begin when he leaves Jersey and comes to Californiais was a giveaway
