Trudy, Madly, Deeply was like Stephanie Plum falls into the Hot Fuzz script, BUT BETTER Delaney s style of writing is fun, laugh out loud, brilliance The plot is just enough to keep you guessing What the heck is happening in Port Merritt , the characters are memorable and real, and the writing is flawless I didn t find one typo in the whole dang thing, which is really hard to do, even for the best books.Delaney wrote a colorful main character, affectionately referred to as Chow Mein, by the loca [...]

    5. This was a surprising cozy to me It deals with a type of murder that probably happens all to often, and one we don t really think a lot about I really enjoyed this read, it was very well written and had some humorous parts in it Charmaine is working at her aunt and uncle s diner, when she makes a delivery to the courthouse, the coroner, Frankie, sets up a job interview for her to be an assistant She gets the job and on her first day, Frankie sends her to the hospital to take a statement from the [...]

    6. I loved the book Hard to believe this is Wendy s first Well drawn characters, that for the most part you like Tightly written plot It has good character back story without letting it overshadow the mystery Just enough so you want to see how the characters lives will progress and want to read the next mystery in the series And well researched I know because as I read a book, I always have Google at hand Charmaine Digby being a human lie detector is not some amazing skill superpower made up by the [...]

    29. This was an interesting story I like the fact that Char is a normal woman with faults like real people and not made to sound like an overbearing, rich, model type We need of these type of stories Plus, she s always making trouble for someone someone even though she thinks she s doing the right thing Ending surprised me.
