    1. I enjoy holiday cozies, so this fit the bill Maybe I was in a last minute shopping fog, but I really didn t figure out who dunnit There were some under lying questions that I was oblivious to as well Cameo and Chrissy, Brett and Katherine s snub of Susan s investigating Overall, I enjoyed this book.

    2. I m a huge fan of this series and I read these books over and over They are well written and full of humor and great characters.I wish there were written, I would love to see a new one.

    3. It s always fun to read a Christmas based story this time of the year I am a little behind the times on this story as it was published in 1994 and I ve just now read it I m now interested in finding some of the books written earlier in this series so that I can catch up on the back stories of the characters Interestingly, there was no mention, or use, of a cell phone in the story, and it was not missed

    4. Centers around Susan s New Year s Eve party catered by famous but perhaps jinxed catering company fire, food poisoning, and the death of one of the caterers Susan can t understand why Kathleen and Brett are leaving her out of the investigation and proceeds to do her own undercover work by crashing a string of parties catered by the troubled catering company I enjoyed this one although I missed the Susan kathleen interaction.

    5. A big fan of the holiday mystery, I was pleased to find that Valerie Wolzien has written several I have to admit that I liked the Josie Pigeon series better than the Susan Henshaw, but it wasn t bad There was family drama than mystery, but it was still enjoyable.

    6. I enjoyed this one, set in the week between Christmas and New Years It was a little odd that the police didn t want to include Susan and it would have driven me crazy to.

    7. Very good cozy Had to get use to the fact that cell phones weren t used and the characters had to use an excuse to go to the phone booth

    8. A lightweight, appropriate for the season, mystery in a similarly lightweight series Fun but not very plausible also typical for the series.
