    1. Definitely a great read for an overall understanding of what s happening in Venezuela under Chavez s government Written from a liberal, pro Chavez viewpoint, so it s kinda biased, but it gives a great synopsis of all of the major events of the last 25 years.

    2. The book was written in a very succinct manner and touched on many of the questions that I had around the challenges in VZ I appreciated the depth and breadth of the authors research.
