    1. A Treacherous Decisionbegins shortly after whereA Reluctant Assassinleft off Kayden is slowly recovering from the wounds she received in her fight with a mysterious intruder who attempted to kill Dvarius Will she survive Are her feelings for the prince real, or are they just silly emotions that she s allowing to get the best of her Should she carry out her mission, or tell Dvarius who she really is an assassin This book definitely ups the tension in the series Drey, the order s leader, is growin [...]

    2. A Treacherous Decision, the second book in author J.C Morrow s Order of the Moonstone series starts right where the first book, A Reluctant Assassin leaves off If you haven t read these books yet or are wondering what they re all about I HIGHLY suggest you give them a try I mean yoou can t go wrong with assassins and steampunk.Secrets, romance, and suspense fill these pages and the world J.C built could have been fleshed out but I didn t let it bother me Hence the full 5 stars Kayden and Prince [...]

    3. I am in awe right now of the book I just read Is it possible to write another book in a series and make it better then the first one Yes it can be done and JC Morrow has done it with an explosive story so captivating that I didn t stop reading till I finished the book Kayden had one mission and that was to kill the Prince As the new book opens in the series, we find out that Kayden has done quite the opposite Did she do the unthinkable Can she truly have feelings for a man she was ordered to kil [...]

    4. JC Morrows is an amazing writer I was drawn into this story immediately Kayden lying on a hospital bed, with Dvarius sitting beside her, not knowing if she would recover Oh, my goodness I felt as if I were in the room with them and I didn t stop reading until the end Actually, I was perched on the edge of my chair unable to sit still, at least through the first few chapters.I was thrilled to learn that book two picks up where book one ended with Kayden getting stabbed I read somewhere that it is [...]

    5. J.C Morrows does it again A Treacherous Decision is a wonderful follow up to book 1 of the Order of the MoonStone series, a dystopian story set in a future U.S that looks a bit like the past than the present Seriously, if you haven t picked up these books yet, they are the NEXT BIG FANDOM Without spoiling the plot, A Treacherous Decision picks up right where book 1 ends, and we get to see how the prince reacts to Kayden s actions in the closet I ll leave it at that for those who haven t read bo [...]

    6. If only she could have found it so Kayden s mission should have been simple she was sent to kill the prince, not to fall in love with him Now she knows she is in trouble with the boss and with her heart Her or the Prince I would have been sitting on the edge of my chair wanting to know how she was going to handle this life death decision, so Thanks to the author for a glimpse into the next book Great series for young readers And older I m enjoying it too I received an arc in exchange for an hone [...]

    7. About this book Kayden s mission should have been simple she was sent to kill the prince not to fall in love with him Within the palace walls, Kayden has discovered that things are not as she expected Is there to the royal family, or is there a sinister depth to Drey s mission Dvarius thought his mind was made up but will he have the resolve to see it through Between attacks from outside the palace and within, will the Prince live long enough to choose his Queen And will Kayden choose to fol [...]

    8. This great sequel starts off exactly where A Reluctant Assassin ended so I was glad for that The start of the book is kind of slow because Kayden is recovering from an injury, but it was interesting to see that Prince Dvarius has many questions regarding her identity that I didn t think he would consider Alfreid also shows up AKA Sir Malcolm and Kayden s uncle and he also has to figure out the status of Kayden s mission and how he should proceed I m very interested in knowing what he will decide [...]

    9. Once again, JC Morrows has gripped me with her words The skill in which she pairs words together to create an alternate world is nothing short of amazing The way she snares the reader from the opening page, increasing the tension with every turn of page, until you are forced to stop because you ve reached the end, is maddening.full review to be posted on tonishiloh.weebly blog on 1 11 I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

    10. A Treacherous Decision Order of The Moonstone book 2 By JC MorrowsThis is the second book of the Order of The Moonstone series JC Morrows is a new author to me I have read only one other books and it was the first in the series Her stories are different from what I have been use to reading I will say That I enjoyed A Treacherous Decision It starts out a little slow , but also starts back up where A Reluctant Assassin ended, which I was proud of I was drawn into the story right from the start, an [...]

    11. JC Morrows has done it again with her writing of A Treacherous Decision I was drawn into the story of Kayden and Prince Dvarius from the first page JC has creativity as an author As a reader, I was right in the moment with the characters feeling all the emotions from love to anguish Will Kayden be the new Princess for Prince Dvarius or is the Order going to destroy her opportunity at loving the Prince Order of the Moonstone series is a must be read series if you enjoy fiction with romance and su [...]

    12. Book 2 of the series A Treacherous Decision picks up right where A Reluctant Assassin left off so don t worry that you might miss anything The book is written with hints scattered throughout so that you can read it as a standalone or out of order, but I always suggest reading the series in order In this case, you should start with A Perilous Assignment available FREE on kindle, BN, itunes and kobo then read A Reluctant Assassin A Cunning Masquerade actually takes place between chapters 23 and 24 [...]

    13. This is the second book in this series and starts right in where the first book ended Kayden wasn t supposed to fall in love with the prince, but she has learned that she wasn t given correct information about this assignment Things have gone a bit haywire and she s not sure who to trust Based on what happened at the end of book one, Dvarius has questions about Kayden and is anxious to get some answers But Kayden isn t too anxious to give them to him.I like both Dvarius and Kayden and hope their [...]

    14. Intrigue, romancegh I love it when I am pulled into a story and enjoy every minute of it Dvarius and Kayden are two characters that you hope will succeed and pull themselves out of the mess that others have made around them.Kayden is an assassin who is assigned to kill Prince Dvarius She didn t plan on falling in love with him and protecting him when faced with danger In her defense, she was given some wrong information before she began the assignment All of this is explained in the first book, [...]

    15. What the book is about Kayden s mission should have been simple she was sent to kill the prince not to fall in love with him.Within the palace walls, Kayden has discovered that things are not as she expected Is there to the royal family, or is there a sinister depth to Drey s mission Dvarius thought his mind was made up but will he have the resolve to see it through Between attacks from outside the palace and within, will the Prince live long enough to choose his Queen And will Kayden choose [...]

    16. This book grabs from the first page and draws you into it s story It is a wonderful, suspenseful love story and very hard to put down I didn t read the first in the series, but will be doing that so it was a little hard to follow at first, but well worth figuring out.I received the book for free through First Reads.

    17. 3.75 5 StarsThis book begins right where the last book ended J.C Morrows comments at the beginning that she tries to write these as standalone books however, I feel that one should just read them in order.Kayden is an assassin sent to kill Prince Dvarius however, she finds that she has fallen for him and vice versa This novel was the continuation of their love story, and how she would tell Dvarius who she really is.The book is a rather quick read The most aggravating part of this book was the fi [...]

    18. JC continues to give us a suspenseful love story that tangles around the premise of identity and monarchical power struggles Though it starts off slow due to the recuperation of Kayden s character in terms of action, there s plenty of sentimental impact in lieu of it The action builds through out the story, and yet again to another cliffhanger I m really not a fan of cliffhangers, but it does make for a climatic end to an episodic story For a full review Giveaway justcommonly 2016NOTE I received [...]

    19. So, this book is the second in a series loosely based on Cinderella the concept being What if Cinderella was sent to the ball to kill the Prince A great stoyline not the first time it s been explored. However, I m not sure the concept was explored as well as it could ve been The first book A Reluctant Assassin spends a lot of time on romance and the characters thinking and talking instead of acting Only near the end do things get good This book pretty much follows the same format I hope the third [...]

    20. Wonderful book Yet again, a compelling story with wonderful characters My only complaint, and it isn t really a complaint, is that the books all seem to add these long thoughts, prayers, and speeches about God I have nothing against talking about and loving God I have faith and believe in Him myself but sometimes it seems very forced which is a little annoying It isn t really all that bad and it isn t long or drawn out enough for me to wish the author would stop Just a tiny bit forced or seeming [...]

    21. Do Not RecommendWhile I wouldn t recommend this series, it s one I need to finish just to have closure The plot is thin, the characters limited and uncomplicated, and there is a preponderance of ellipses that is truly baffling Sentence structure proves awkward, even so when it is conveying someone s thoughts The series also pushes a Christian agenda Wish I had known that before buying book 1 I would have been able to avoid the series all together then And don t forget the insta love romance Thi [...]

    22. After reading A Reluctant Assassin, I wasn t sure I d pick up the next book I was a bit disappointed in the first one But, the cliff hanger got me in the end, so I picked up the next one I m glad I did I enjoyed this book better than the first one, probably because I knew what to expect than the first one Things I really liked this book flowed much better than the first one Only two really important scenes were skipped this time around instead of several the characters were better defined than [...]

    23. What I love most about this book is its cover I remember when it was released, and I thought it was absolutely stunning If you ve read the previous book and or short stories in the series, the storyline is somewhat predictable particularly if you keep the title in mind through the story , but it s still a fun read you may know generally how it s going to go, but are not sure how it ll get there. While I enjoy the prince s character immensely, and his expression of faith, I wish that this was dev [...]

    24. Book 2 was an improvement Not by much, but an improvement I see why people would love this story and these characters, but for me, I felt disconnected from them We re introduced to character, but they remain in the background while Dvarius and Kayden remain the center of attention The whole freaking story revolves around these two, but I feel like I don t really know them Aside from their anxieties lack of confidence I m inadequate for him her I love him her, but are we good for each other , we [...]

    25. Once again a great book I really loved this I loved how we saw kayden and the prince s relationship grow throughout the book it was cool, although I did think the kissing was a bit much I really enjoyed this book I thought it was so sweet how the prince stood with kayden every step of her recovery, and I m super excited for the next book.
