    1. This is the first book I ve read by the prolific Mr.Vaughan, who clearly knows how to plot and tell a great story The author imbues the fast paced revenge story with a cast of interesting characters and enough surprises and twists to keep the story interesting and page turningly propulsive.

    2. A good B westernI was going to give this one four stars, but changed my mind and went with 5 This book put me in mind of the old B western movies that were run on T.V in the early sixties on Saturday afternoons Now don t get me wrong there were some B western that were pretty hokey, but then there was that rare gem that just sparkled This story was one of the ones that sparkle The plot is basic revenge driven about two brothers out to avenge the rape and death of their sister by the villain, who [...]

    3. I thoroughly enjoyed Glory Dust, and any lover of Western movies or books, will enjoy it too There the double dealing, two timing, shooting action, you d expect from a good Western Not to mention the pursuit of gold, which often than not, turned out to be dust There is the unfulfilled love interest, the stranger with the cold snake eyes, and a deadly shot I love the Chaney brothers, especially Buck, and his relationship with Lucinda Gray I would have liked to see their relationship developed in [...]

    4. This was a outstanding short read about two brothers separated by the Civil War, fighting on opposite sides reunite after a heinous crime at their farm compels them to search for an old enemy who had stolen a gold shipment at the end of the war The book is well written and offers a good view of the west in unsettled post reconstruction times The writing is clear and crisp and the characters and plot are good as well Recommend without reservation.

    5. Good Beach ReadMixing Civil War history with brothers looking for revenge after the war makes for fast enjoyable book. The main characters are well rounded and likable. The villains are so bad you can t wait to see them get what they need.Only, look out for a twist.Enjoyed reading this book.

    6. The book offered some very complex dynamics, without being a complex read It was better than a typical turn a page western but had a few time gaps that could have been cleaned up a bit.

    7. Good readReally enjoyed the book about the brothers Came back together after the war from fighting on opposite sides to go after the ones that killed their sister.

    8. RevengeWhen you cross the Chaney brothers you can expect payback When you rape and kill their sister, you will pay with your life

    9. GoodIt was a good read but pretty predictable least it was written pretty well The spelling and phrasing is goodank youDoni

    10. If you have read some of Vaughn s other works, you can see he is using some of the same plot lines and situations here, rather blatantly And how does a villain hiss when he talks I understand that hiss implies a reptilian, hence evil, persona but how does one talk hissing unless he is dragging out his s s
