    1. If you didn t buy The Worst Class Trip Ever for your school library, put it on your order RIGHT NOW Buy two copies Then add one of this one I actually preordered a copy for my very own, since Mr Barry was super nice when I met him at the Smithsonian last year Wyatt and his friends are pitted against rich bullies who are up to no good, and he uncovers a plot of theirs involving dangerous animals It wasn t quite as funny as the first, but I loved that Wyatt was in 9th grade, was clearly a high sch [...]

    2. Dave Barry is one seriously funny guy I laughed all the way through the two adult books of his that I read I m happy that he has continued with that same sense of humor in his middle grade books, but, with you know, funny kid stuff, not funny adult stuff.I found the first book in this series, The Worst Class Trip Ever to be an extremely enjoyable read I loved how the action started pretty much right at the beginning and never let up It was quite the wild ride from beginning to end, and one that [...]

    3. A cute book I read the uncorrected advance proof of this book, but imagine that the published book will be much like this when it comes out in April This book is a follow up to The Worst Class Trip Ever I did not read the first one, and it did not impact much in reading this one Dave Barry makes references back to the first book to give us an orientation Wyatt and his best friend Matt are now in high school They are not part of the popular group, but are bullied by them especially the Bevin brot [...]

    4. SPOILER ALERT The book The Worst Night Ever by Dave Barry is in modern time in Miami, Florida Wyatt is a freshman at Coral Cove High School Wyatt is brave, stubborn and a hero He also has a friend named Matt who is an idiot , and Matt brought his pet ferret, Frank, to school and the mean Bevin Brothers took Frank and was going to feed it to their pet snake Wyatt and Matt decided to go over to the Bevins house and steal Frank back When Wyatt was leaving he saw that the Bevins owned illegal animal [...]

    5. I love this book so much It all started with Frank the Ferret When the Bevin Brothers took him home, it s up to Matt, Wyatt, and Victor to get him back On the journey over to the bevin residence, they notice a Komodo dragon It s illegal to own one When they try to tell the police about it, they get counter attacked by Frank Bevin himself They go through many troubles and find out many secrets during this journey Read the book to find out what happens i definitely recommend this book 10 10 Emily, [...]

    6. The name of the book is The Worst Night Ever by Dave Barry This book was about a kid named Wyatt Palmer In the book Wyatt and his friends Matt and Victor are on a mission to get back Matt s ferret named Frank It all started when Matt brought Frank to Coral Cove high school in Miami, Florida Matt let a girl look at the ferret and then it turned bad Did they save Frank from the Bevin brothers snake or was it too late.In the middle of the book a secrecy agent taps on Wyatt s window in the middle of [...]

    7. Dave Barry was my Fav author for many years I have almost ALL of his books, which are mostly collections of his articles written for the Miami Herald and magazines He s a very funny man He s also a very good writer Recently he has been co authoring novels with his friend Ridley Pearson He s also written several alone, and this is one of them It s classic YA writing, aimed at the 15 year old It s an easy 2 day read at most, and the characters and plot line are clever and full of surprises It was [...]

    8. What a hilarious book I did not read the first one, but that s okay, I didn t seem to need to I can totally relate to Wyatt he has angered the jocks and now he has to deal with it The extremes that he goes to help his friend are admirable, if only a little far fetched I found this book to be a rollicking good time Suitable for middle grade and up.

    9. Dave Barry is funny His writing is often excellent But I think he s reached his limit in the YA genre, though Even for an exaggerated farce caper, this isn t plausible Teenagers bully smaller kids and are willingly and actively involved in criminal acts with their father Worst was an appropriate word for the title, sadly.

    10. Better than the first in my opinion It was a little realistic and had a lot of unique ideas It featured animals and had some problems that made me frustrated at the situation I felt like this book, though it was still a little far fetched, had some great ideas.

    11. I did not know this was a Middle Grade or Young Adult book when I picked it up as I really like Dave Barry It is a cute story, but I think I ll stick to Adult novels for entertainment.

    12. I think this was a worthy follow up to Worst Class Trip Ever, but I wonder if this one s also best read by actual teenagers Too often, since the days of Harry Potter, readers have kind of gotten a little caught up with material that really was intended for someone else The mood of Worst Night Ever is a lot controlled, which is to say less fanciful, than Class Trip, reflecting both Dave Barry s intention to take his audience seriously no doubt culled from experiences with his teenage daughter an [...]

    14. I went into this book blind on the series, so I was little hesitant at first I have to say this book was very surprising, I really was unsure I would enjoy it I found this book was really funny and held my interest for long periods.Basically, the worst night ever is the story of Wyatt and his friends being pitted against horrible bullies They are the rich kids of his high school He tries to survive the shark pool that is high school This isn t your average anti bully story though Wyatt uncovers [...]

    15. The Worst Night Ever by Dave Barry starts out with 14 year old kid named Wyatt Palmer who last year saved the president of the United States of America, but is now a regular high school freshman His friend Matt Diaz brought his pet ferret to school, but soon it gets taken away by the most popular boys at the school, the Bevin Brothers Wyatt and Matt come up with a plan to sneak into the brothers house and steal him back. After they got him back they found out the Bevin s deep dark secret They fou [...]

    16. When Wyatt s friend, Matt, brings a ferret to school on the first day of high school, the cruel Bevin brothers take it from him After the brothers threaten to feed the ferret to their snake, Wyatt and Matt sneak into the Bevin family s mansion to rescue it During the rescue, Wyatt and Matt discover an illegal animal smuggling operation Everyone else including Wyatt s crush, Suzana and even the police blindly idolizes the wealthy Bevin family, so no one believes the boys tale Short chapters and l [...]

    17. What a great action packed followup to the first book Barry is great at building tension and he sets the kids up in a near possible situation The level of zaniness and creativity is out of this world The boys are back but Suzanna is sitting this one out and a new surprise player joins the team Just like the first book, I couldn t figure out how the kids were going to pull it off There was less Florida Miami is a crazy place and less about his mother s Cuban heritage although her legendary temper [...]

    18. I loved this book I loved The Worst Class Trip Ever , the first book in the series I love Dave Barry The book is very funny what else would you expect from Dave Barry and very entertaining I would highly recommend it for middle grade reluctant readers My only problem is that I do not see a 9th grade boy, especially one not good at math, being in trigonometry In 9th grade they would most likely be taking Algebra or Geometry if they took Algebra in 8th Grade I know that is a minor complaint, but i [...]

    19. While not quite as good as The Worst Class Trip Ever, Dave Barry weaved another hilarious tale of teens doing wild and outlandish deeds in a way only he could It s wonderfully written and appropriate for all ages Even curse words are done in the passive sense He said a bad word Is recommend it for anyone who enjoys juvenile fiction or Barry s work.

    20. Entertaining enough Again, my ten year old is a big fan Adults slightly competent in this book than they were in The Worst Class Trip Ever But also much evil Some of them The characters are a bit older Now in high school I guess an up of the stakes is to be expected Still not sure how believable this book is but it entertained my son.

    21. Funny, action packed and over the top Dave Barry was born to write kids young adult books If you are an adult fan, like me, you will also enjoy this series I hope there will be Side note I listened to this on audiobook The narrator did an excellent job.

    22. I read this one in basically an evening and ended up staying up late to finish it Middle school kids who go head to head with a prominent business man in town over illegal animals Humorous but probably not worth the lack of sleep I now have today.
