    1. An aphorism is a short phrase meant to provoke thought or inspiration in the reader It can be serious, witty, or insightful, but above all must make the reader pause and appreciate its meaning. This book contains aphorisms from 32 modern writers These aphorisms cover a broad range of topics which are meant to be savored and digested slowly Anyone who skims through is likely to miss to point of the book. Some of my favorites are Lily Ackerman The man who consults every opinion must then decide whic [...]

    4. I got this free from a Giveaway.I really enjoyed this book Like some of the authors said some of these you get and some you don t I liked the information that was given at the beginning of each authors section that explained about their writing careers.

    5. This was a good quick read It makes you think, we all probably write aphorism s in our journals and until we go back and read them we will never know.
