    6. Being from this area of the country, and having an interest in the history of the area, I was excited to read this short novel It is less than 300 pages, but it gives an insight into how the coal camps were run and how the lowest workers were treated It also gives some insight on how the union battles began and how it was for those starting that war It was a very quick read, and I would love to read a story of how Zetta and Asa began their lives, and how Zetta got along after this story.
