I received this book through first reads for free in exchange for an honest review.I thoroughly enjoyed this book, both the concept of an advanced form of rabies that has ruined the majority of the world, and they very realistic dystopian setting this presented I adored Evan, his character voice was very strong and real I loved his sarcasm and lack of confidence in himself and found it all to be a very refreshing addition to the gruesome world that this story takes place in Lauren and Leaf were [...]

Aeron by Shandy Lawson is fantastic Three 16 year old kids escape from the walled in New York City and make their way across a vast wilderness looking for survivors of the virus which wiped out most of the city and their families The characters are well developed and very likeable The plot is great and has you turning pages rapidly to see if the kids are okay Even has a wicked twist to it and no zombies, thank heaven Kudos to Lawson for a job well done I received this book through First Reads fo [...]
