I am not sure what to make of the acidity causing gerd issue I have read the opposing school of thought that it is dysbiosis causing gas and it resonates with me The author did bring sodium alginate to my mind as a treatment and for that the book was definitely worth it I also learned that pepsin causes the damage by eating the esophagus so even if the overall theory is wrong I have no idea and will defer to my Doctors after bringing up both sides there is good in this book.
