    1. I ve been questioning what I thought I was going to find in the first place when I read this book I didn t really expect a literary masterpiece, but it s been a while since I ve read anything that sounded like it was written by a high school student The Gronk is probably a sweetheart in person, and likely a lot of fun I felt like testosterone was literally dripping off the pages To be fair, I did fly through this book But no 23 year old should be writing a life story to begin with I can summariz [...]

I personally loved this book It is a great story of the best tight end in NFL history and how he became to be it and have a great time too Gronk grew up in what most would consider today as a warzone He had 5 older brothers that were barbaric All the boys in the family played any number of sports such as football, hockey, and wrestling With a family of competitive boys it is not surprising that it helped Gronk become determined to be the best at his sport He learned early that you had to work ha [...]

    8. This book is about Robert gronkowski growing and making the big leagues It s also goes into detail about how it was growing up with three other brothers And how his goofy antics came about Plus how he delt with a super bowl loss and going through injuries in college and in the nfl I would recommend this book of you like sports and if you want a good laugh Another reason why I would read this book is because he is the complete opposite of what you would see from a stone face patriot This book is [...]

    9. A fun read Good for Patriots fans and other football fans Gronk being Gronk may be understood in New England, but this book is than just that it is about how to never give up on dreams, to be positive, to have fun, that hard work can pay off Gronk is one of my favorite football players and overall a great guy Well worth reading this quick and enjoyable book.

    10. Bless his heart I think my IQ dropped 50 points Quick fun read Learned some stuff about Gronk but if you think intelligence is important you might wanna bypass this book He is adorable though.

    11. This is not exactly book award material but I like Gronk and decided to read it It s pretty much what you would expect a book about Gronk to be like He s only 23 so it s mainly about how he came to play football in college and the NFL Parts of it were really interesting, like how he overcame his injuries with grit and determination, how we was inspired by cancer kids and I also found his story of his contract negotiating interesting Not sorry I read it at all Loved Gronk before and still love Gr [...]

    12. It goes without saying that Gronk is a big doofus I understand that he probably writes on a first grade level, if that But the point of getting a ghost writer which he did, for this book is that you tell your story through someone who is capable of good writing The ghost writer brought it up to MAYBE a fourth grade reading level I skimmed, because it was so, so bad I love Gronk though I don t need him to be a good writer I need him to make amazing catches Go Pats

    13. this book show how and what Gronk AKA Rob Gronkowski had to go threw to a successful NFL football player But importantly it shows that he was a regular kid that just worked hard to get better at football and he didn t do it all own he had his family s and his brothers help to his road to success I did like this book because I am a fan of the pats and I have always been interested in sports book so that is why i pick this book and that is why i liked it.

    14. Fun to read He definitely has a 2 track mind, being the best tight end in history, and partying He is a straight talker and gives credit where credit is due Speaking louder than words he never once mentions Aaron Hernandez.

    15. Honestly, I am not a fan of his The beginning is funny There are sweet moments when he talks about his mom He is hilarious to watch on TV when football season is over.

    16. I like this book a lot because i love biography s a lot and who would t know the life of our New England Patriots legend I thought it was interesting because it went in other peoples perspective like his mom and brother I wish the author could of added to the story like how he is now but its okay I would recommend this book to people that like sports and biography s.

Reed HollingsworthWaldorf Hour 7ELA 1115 August 2014 Who is Gronk Rob Gronkowski conveys himself as a hard worker by showing him as someone who didn t take the easy way out, but wanted to work hard to accomplish his lifelong goal of being a tight end in the NFL In the middle of the book, Gronk is working in rehab and with a special trainer to recover from his almost career ending back injury, when he receives the news from his doctor he is going to be able to play the game he loves again When Gr [...]

    18. My mind pictures a mashup of the Alpha Beta fraternity from Revenge of the Nerds , the O Doyle family from Billy Madison and the goofy band LMFAO I expected to see PARTY and Gronk Rulez scrawled in crayon all over the inside, I wasn t far off they used a typewriter. The Gronkowski household was a madhouse of constant fighting Papa Gronk reigned over the anything but balls or face battle royale with his iron fist, ensuring all assaults were only between brothers This, coupled with the extremely at [...]

    19. Over the summer I read the non fiction book It s Good to Be Gronk by Rob Gronkowski I enjoyed this book so much The story is an autobiography of the famous Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski Gronkowski goes into so much detail about his life as a child and his poor mother who raised 5 huge boys that ate a lot and would wrestle and fight all the time He also goes into detail about his high school football career and his college Then his big day when he gets drafted to the NFL, but we also see a di [...]

    20. Overall this was a fun quick read If you are looking for a literary masterpiece, this is not it However I felt it was entertaining and had some really good messages I think this book is good for young athletes It explains that Gronk is who he is because of hard work, training and dedication It shows that he is not just a phemon but is a result of a tireless work ethic He credits his mom for feeding him good nutritional food and not fast food He also explains he has never done drugs and he makes [...]

    23. What I think of this book is that if you work hard and be positive about, you will go far in life, Rob Gronkowski is a great example of this, in which he is without a question, the best tight end in the National Football League He shows people that he could still be a fun loving guy even though at the same time, he s playing football It shows you that you can still party along as you don t get in to any trouble According to Tom Brady, Gronk is the most funniest and rambunctious friend he s ever [...]

    24. It s Good to Be Gronk is a non fiction book that tells the story of how Rob Gronkowski turned into Gronk For those who do not know who he is, he is a professional football player for the New England Patriots I enjoyed how he told about growing up and rough housing with his brothers as well as the big influence his parents played in his life I also liked how he gave us insight into how hard he works and his thought on parts of his football games to this time If you are a Pats fan like me, you wil [...]

    25. A very quick read that includes anything you might want to know about Rob Gronkowski s short life so far The writing isn t great it rambles, is pretty repetitive, and overuses catchphrases and exclamation points , but I guess you can t expect that much from a professional football player Though he could have relied on a ghost writer to clean things up, it does read as if he wrote it himself.

    26. Okay, so if you re reading this for a great, insightful, piece of literature you will not like this If, however, you are reading it for what it is you ll enjoy it.It s Gronk s look at Gronk s life Filled with sibling antics, fights, football, and drinking stories you learn that it really is good to be Gronk This book is an insanely simple read that still elicits chuckles, concern for Gronk, and awe at who he is.Gronk is rad and if you agree read it.

    27. This book is great, i learned so much about his back story and how he became who he is today Rob Gronkowski gronk was is a tight end for The New England Patriots and has over 70 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing rushing touchdowns Rob Gronkowski has came from a family of all football players HE didn t beleive that he would make it in the Nfl because his brothers brought him down.

    28. Work hard, play hard, but not too hard, keep a positive attitude and value family If you have watched the Patriots and read this review, you have pretty much read this book I was hoping for inside the locker room tidbits and overall, a interesting book Still love Gronk but this book was pretty unnecessary.
