    1. This lovely little chapbook, while quite small, is bursting at the seams A tiny mesmerizing meditation that lulls and breaks readers Bolden s fierce, unrelenting look at two people is done in such a way that I find myself speechless It is a prose journey through the rise and fall of the two, sharp examinations of movement and space, and less that of a catalouge or dialogue I want to read this book aloud again and again, the language vibrates, the images tender and real.

    2. What a tough, unflinching collection of linked essays They brought to mind every bad relationship I ve ever had I just wish I d written about them half so well.
