    1. A small town, a big lake, old secrets and ever raw losses Share the Moon, first in the Blue Moon Lake Series by Sharon Struth, grabs all of those in a top hat, stirs it up a bit, and manages to pull out magic There is not a detail of setting or character left for us to guess at Struth gives her readers exactly what is in her head to create a fully realized town and the people in it We know every facial tick, every thought what we don t know is the mystery hiding just behind each face, in each he [...]

    3. I love it when a book takes me by surprise and this one did just that gosh I loved it A wonderfully written romance that revolves around mature characters in a small town setting This one definitely tugged on the heartstrings, especially Sophie s story Sophie experiences every mother s worst nightmare, the death of a child I definitely felt her loss and her pain the emotions of this character were very real Her inability to cope with the loss took it s toll on her marriage and now she finds hers [...]

    4. If you ve read any of my reviews, then you know I ask you to read the blurb I dislike repeating the excellent storyline that authors write to entice us to read their books. The author, Sharon Struth grabbed me hook, line, and sinker from the beginning I loved Ms Struth s sweet romance, mixed with a hint of mystery Romance is not dead after the age of forty, and Ms Struth relays that message loud and clear.Sophie, the main character is appealing right off the bat And what can I say about Duncan, e [...]

    6. I thoroughly enjoyed Share the Moon by Sharon Struth and I m a die hard paranormal horror girl I m not big on retelling the story or plot in my reviews Others do and the blurb gives you a good idea what the book is about Here s what kept me invested in the characters and turning the pages until I finished It s the first in the Blue Moon Lake series, set in a small Connecticut town on a lake, amid a vineyard that the heroine, Sophie Shaw, would like to bring back to life Until Duncan Jamison outb [...]

    7. This is a first for me from this author and I was pleasantly surprised Sophie and Duncan are thankfully not the typical 20 something leads we are becoming used to, they are both in their 40 s with teenage children This book takes place in a New England town where Sophie has loved her whole life, she tries to purchase some land she has wanted for so long, only to be outbid by a development company Enter Duncan, president of said company Despite all the things that come up as the future of the lan [...]

    8. Share the Moon by Sharon Struth is a 2014 Kensington Lyrical Press Publication I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review The fight over land rights is as old as time it seems Sophie is on the verge of opening a vineyard on land that had been associated with her family for centuries, when a zoning matter and a new bid on the land puts a freeze on her plans As a reporter she is assigned to cover the hot topic issue, which is kind of hard to do with in an unbiased way unde [...]

    9. What a great story I don t often read pure contemporary romance women s fiction, but I really enjoyed this novel by Sharon Struth Set in a small town in CT with it s inevitable small town drama, all of Struth s characters were fun and believable with varying personalities to boot The hero and heroine, Sophie and Duncan, definitely kept my interest throughout the novel, and I enjoyed the progression of their relationship It wasn t instalove and they had lots of conflict between them considering t [...]

    10. I can see why romances featuring middle aged men and women are so popular I m sure most of us like to read what we can relate to Ms Struth demonstrates that Sophie can still long for and find a heated romance after a life of divorce, children, and heartbreak I enjoyed that Duncan and Sophie had some kind of history Their reaction to each other when they first met in the book was endearing and I started rooting for them to get together immediately.Ms Struth evoked a plethora of deep emotions My h [...]

    12. I haven t read many books, where the protagonists were over 40 I usually stick to New Adult and Young Adult books, but Share the Moon was a welcome change The characters were mature and there was no unnecessary drama in the book There wasn t much untoward bitching in the book and it was quite an enjoyable read.Sophie Shaw is on the verge of fulfilling her dream of owing a vineyard, but Duncan Jamieson s offer blows it out of the water Sophie is a mother who is mourning the loss of her son Henry [...]

    13. Sharon Struth brings a lovely story of second chances with this first novel in her new Blue Moon Lake series Sophie is a reporter for the local paper, and her family used to own land on the lake, where they hoped to build a vineyard An older woman 40 s , Sophie is hoping to reclaim the land as she still hopes to build that vineyard, and her oldest son s memorial garden is on this land as well Her last relationship ended badly, and she hasn t been looking at men in that way in a while, until she [...]

    14. This was my first book of Sharon Struth s, and I absolutely loved her writing style First and foremost, I was happy that the heroine was a 40 something divorced mother of two rather than the typical young and new in love woman Sophie Shaw is a strong woman, a small town journalist in Connecticut After she is outbid on a piece of farm land near Blue Moon Lake she wants to turn the farm into a winery by a big New York corporation, she has the unfortunate task of having to report on the special zon [...]

    20. Pretty sure my legs are still shaking as I climb off this emotional rollercoaster Whew Just when I thought I had things sorted or figured out, Struth threw another twist in there. The first chapter drew me in because Struth is the master of tiny, vivid details that make you really know and love her characters By the end of chapter one, I liked Sophie and I wanted to find out what happened to her Things got even fun during the second half when Struth begins to unravel all the little interconnecti [...]

    24. Share the Moon is a great easy read I really liked both Sophie and Duncan The story has it all and kept me reading into the wee hours It is nice to read a story that the main characters are older than the normal I wouldn t say I live in a small town but I really enjoy the dynamics of a small town In Share the Moon Sophie is trying to purchase land that is very important to her but Duncan also wants the land I am not great at reviewing because all I have to say is I like or I don t This is defini [...]

    27. Posted on What I m ReadingOkay, when I started Share The Moon, I thought it would be of Women s Fic than a romance So, I had a hard time diving into the story Cause the dynamic of the story felt like Women s Fic However, when I hit half way through the story the dynamic of the story started to change and felt like a romance novel This isn t your typical romance novel, because Sophie and Duncan are older than the typical age, and have been through a lot in life With Sophie being a divorcee and [...]

    29. Share The Moon is the first book written by Sharon Struth that I have read I m typically too impatient for mysteries or secrets to unfold in books, but this book is well written and captivating I felt myself traveling the roads and visiting the homes, businesses and town meetings right along with each page As Sophie and Duncan discover hidden secrets, they also begin to find each other It s a tale that left me with a smile and happiness.a good way to end the story

    30. A terrific, grown up romance that deals not only with finding new love, but healing from past hurts and learning from past mistakes Sophie and Duncan both have scars to hide they re instinctively drawn to one another, but need to deal with past issues and present day complications It s very rewarding to watch them work their way through all the bumps in the road as they find their way to each other.
