The slimeball OW saved the day and I just want to barf Roberta Leigh s Two Timing Man starts out strong, as in many of her romances, only to conclude with a pitiful whimper. The heroine, a very convincingly portrayed strong, modern, career woman who gets the pithiest lines of the book, ends up as a jelly spined mess who lets herself be manipulated by a parasitic cousin and a jealous rival by the end of the story The hero doesn t come off much better He is weak, a commitment phobe, cheating manwho [...]

    2. Re Two Timing Man Roberta Leigh brings us her standard lady buffet lurving H and slightly amoral h trope, along with another never ending nasty love triangle set to run and run, again. This time the h and H first meet when the h, who is a director in the family PR firm, agrees to sub as a cocktail waitress for her cousin in a downmarket gambling club The h s cousin was married to a slime slurper who took all her money, got her preggers and then ran out The cousin did not want to ask the h s somew [...]

    3. This author began her writing career with Harlequin as Roberta Leigh, but also published using the name Rachel Lindsay and Roumelia Lane I have several of her books under each name in my TBR No matter the name, Ms Lindsay writes with wit and charm Abby is a young woman whose intelligence and beauty combined have made her a force to be reckoned with in the public relations game Ross is a charismatic man who often underestimates Abby s abilities These two love to challenge each other verbally, whi [...]

    4. Rating 3.5 starsKind of predictable but still enjoyable I liked how the heroine was feisty, smart and successful I also liked how she didn t pine for the hero when he pushed her away we learn later it was for her own safety Of course there is an ex OW on the scene who makes her claim quite clear though in the end she does come clean All in all not a bad read.

    5. I did not care for this book I felt something was missing In the beginning I loved the heroine The story line was good Until the Heroine sleeps with the jerk She changed a little I did not like how she immediately said she loved him The hero I could not stand he carried on with too many women, especially the one who caused the heroine grief He strung the other woman along knowing she loved him while heased the heroine ick This time I should have paid attention to title I do not like cheating men [...]

    6. Basic, decent story Too much plot v romantic action, but that s pretty common for the age of it Both the main characters were likable and it was a light, easy story.
