    1. This is my choice for book club I knew we would be talking about Catching Fire and the double whammy of having postponed the last one an additional week and school starting required a shorter book This collection of stories about food is one I have loved for years My favorite is the Apple Pie Baked in a Brown Paper Bag There are many memorable stories I read 3 4 of them to the kids at lunch on Saturday and they were asking if they could read it later.

    2. Some of the stories were great and others ho hum However, it was fun in that it got me thinking about my own food associated memories.

    3. This is a great book for the holiday season I love that each chapter is it s own essay so you can read a little at a time The stories are humorous and uplifting.

    4. Stories and recipes from several well known LDS authors Nothing spectacular, perhaps if I tried a recipe my rating would change.

    5. You just really can t go wrong when you get recipes after each story I was really disappointed to find Camilla s cinnamon roll recipe is wrong The flour to milk ratio should NOT be 1 1.
