This was one of my all time favorite books as a child It s an oversize books with stunningly gorgeous illustrations The story is about two islands side by side, one is incredibly wealthy and obsessed with gold, and the other is much humble The tides are turned pun intended and the richer peoples are forced to turn to the poorer for help My copy of this was loaned out by my mother and never returned It s out of print, of course, and expensive to replace Someday, I ll get another one I never stop [...]

    3. This used to be my favorite picture book it may still be The illustrations are beautiful and have amazing detail The story is simple but great I spend many hours reading this as a child.
