    1. Certain books are not suitable for ladies, for they might offend a woman s delicate sensibilities COMMONLY HELD BELIEF, TO THE VEXATION OF CURIOUS MAIDENS EVERYWHERE.I enjoyed this story, for the most part, but I do have an issue with it, namely Olivia and her over the top worrying and her utterly horrid attempts to drive Phinn away who was actually the best part of the story There came a point I wanted to shout at him that he deserves better than her and to run, far away, as fast as he could.Sh [...]

    2. Wallflower Gone Wild was my first read of Maya Rodale since I read her debut duo and loved them Her Writing Girls series didn t really appeal to me so I waited until reviews for her latest series came out to try again Needless to say, I have now added her other Wallflower books to my pile This story was not super historically accurate and had a modern voice, but there was still enough focus on some of the strictures in society, a touching look at the harm of stereotypes, and a bubbly, fun writi [...]

    3. This is of a 3.5 for me I honestly just got so tired of Olivia s insistence on misbehaving and Prue s negativity Right off the bat, I liked Phinn better then Olivia for the most part Olivia spent so much time dancing around communication with him that it got to be tiresome Her attempts at wild behavior to deter him got ludicrous and quite frankly horribly reckless as the book went on And I m not entirely sure why He did not, despite her belief to the contrary, act in a threatening manner Oh he [...]

    4. While the writing and story of the first Wallflower book wasn t brilliant, I was at least entertained by the chemistry between Blake and Emma and their flirtatious banter Wallflower Gone Wild lacked all of that, leaving us with pages upon pages where nothing seems to happen While Olivia s resistance to the betrothal that s been forced upon her is understandable in the beginning, her fear and immaturity made me less than sympathetic to her cause as the story wore on I didn t buy that she was this [...]

    5. Recently decided to give a few authors I dismissed for having a bad book a second chance In this case, at least, I m glad I did It was a fun and light read and I enjoyed every minute of it Will definitely be checking out Prudence s story.

    6. Review posted on Got Fiction gotfiction wallflower Wow, do I have issues with this book Well, one issue to be exact So this is a Big Misunderstanding premise, and I m okay with that plot device, as long as it isn t dragged on too long This time, it was dragged on too long Until the last pages, to be exact And the worst part is that it might not have been able to be cleared up with one conversation since Olivia needed to trust Phin, I get that, but there could have been an attempt. So this is a se [...]

    7. In a historical romance I look for an interesting story, lots of dialogue and sexual tension Unfortunately this book does not live up to my expectations I have read many of Ms Rodale s novels and really enjoyed them After reading the last Wallflower book I was excited to read Olivia and Prudence s story This book is Olivia s story Olivia is scared of Phinn for than 3 4 of the story he is thought to be a double murderer which he does not openly deny and we are reminded of this time and time agai [...]

    8. The heroine of this book, the second in Maya Rodale s Wallflower series is Olivia Archer, a young lady with a reputation for such unbending propriety that she has been nicknamed London s Least Likely to Cause a Scandal Now in her fourth season, Olivia despairs of ever finding a husband She has done everything expected of her, and behaved exactly as a well brought up young lady should behave, and yet being good has got her precisely nowhere, and she is beginning to chafe against the constant stri [...]

    9. Olivia is known as London s Least Likley and is known for her poise and following the rules and never stepping out of line, and what has it gotten her, unwed after four season One evening she meets a man who sizzles her senses just from one look across the ballroom, and she almost kisses him in public Afterward, she learns her parents have betrothed her to the Mad Baron , Phineas Cole She has heard many rumors about this Mad Baron, about how he murdered his wife Phinn has admired Olivia from afa [...]

    10. Do you guys ever have these authors that you keep reading hoping to love, but never managing to That is the way it is for me and Maya Rodale I have read a number of her books, and while all of them have been enjoyable, none of them have really left an impression on me, and I always find them lacking that something that makes a novel extra special to me But I keep trying of her books, which is why I listened to Wallflower Gone Wild by Maya Rodale While this was a perfectly acceptable story, I ke [...]

    11. This was delightful and fun a better follow up to the first book in the series This is truly lighthearted regency escape, full with humor, steamy moments and some sweet heroes Recommend

    12. Fluffy book gone wrong. This book had a perfect storyline wallflower gets betrothed to a Mad Baron, who is a supposed murderer It would have been perfect, if the heroine had not been written with the maturity level of a 13 yr old Really, I think my own 14 yr old daughter acts mature that this Olivia girl did, from decision making skills to asinine conversations when with her girlfriends Definition of TSTL right here.Once Olivia is informed by her desperate to marry her off parents that she has b [...]

    13. In the second instalment of Maya Rodale s Bad Boys and Wallflowers series, Lady Olivia Archer is dreading the upcoming reunion at Lady Penelope s Finishing School, because she will be one of the very, very few graduates who have not yet married It s one thing to be labeled a wallflower but it s entirely a different thing to be labeled a spinster and a failure but, just as she and her friends start thinking of an outrageous plan to get her married, Olivia meets Phinneas Cole, Baron Radcliffe and [...]

    14. Am I the only one who saw some definite ties to Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier One difference between the two was that i actually liked the heroine, so that s a plus But the death of the first wife, her love of a relative, her supposed pregnancy, burning of buildings, she reminds him of her, and the list goes on it all resembles Rebecca, but it seems that no one on figured that out as well Weird

    15. Review posted Happily Ever After ReadsBlog rating BLady Olivia Archer is being forced into marriage by her father after spending 4 years out in society and never losing the tag of being a Wallflower She s been promised to a man known as the Mad Baron, a man who according to gossip, killed his first wife Needless to say Olivia is willing to do anything to make this marriage not happen And when she learns that the Mad Baron is looking for a wife who s docile, quiet, biddable, he believes Olivia to [...]

    16. I totally loved book 1 in this series, so I was expecting a lot from this one And it definitely didn t disappoint Wallflower Gone Wild was a fantastic read The romance was lovely, the story was fun, and it was a truly enjoyable read Loved it Olivia was a lovely heroine She was a perfect lady who was sick of following the rules and decided to make her own I have to say, it was entertaining watching her struggle to find those She was really nice and sweet, but it would be a mistake to underestimat [...]

    17. What do you do when you ve had four seasons and have only managed to capture the title of Prissy Missy instead of a husband Lady Olivia Archer has had very little luck when it comes to finding a husband, so much so that her parents are willing to set her up with a man who has a questionable reputation Phinneas Cole, who is also known as the Mad Baron, has shown his interest in marrying Olivia but there is one thing holding her back Rumors have said that he murdered his previous wife.In an attemp [...]

    18. Wallflower Gone Wild was such a cute read I adored the love interest Phinn and I really liked that he wasn t a typical historical romance hero I also enjoyed the humor in the novel that came about over a series of misunderstandings.I liked Olivia and I could emphasize with how hard she had it with her overbearing mother There were a few times I wanted to reach through the book and slap Lady Archer over the ridiculous expectations she placed on her daughter The way Olivia went about getting out o [...]

    19. Gw kesel banget sama mbaknya ampun deh, gak bisa menghargai perasaan masnya dan terlalu percaya sama rumor hahahaahhaa Olivia Archer, die yg nulis pertunangan pura2nya Duke of Ashbrooke sama Lady Emma, idenya dari mbak nomer 3 taunya Prudence Nah ini season ke 4 nya Olivia kan, bapak sama emaknya ude kesel aja, apalagi Olivia dapet gelar Prissy Missy, karena sangat proper, obrolan die seputar hobi wanita pada umumnya, die gak pernah flirting karena selalu di tanamkan lady should and lady don t d [...]

    20. An opening quote sets the stage and a humorous tone for the entire novel, though I didn t find this story quite as funny as the first book in Maya Rodale s Wallflowers series, The Wicked Wallflower Rodale often uses quotes from various broadsheets such as the Fashionable Intelligence column by A Lady of Distinction from The London Weekly, popular sayings from Lady Penelope s Finishing School for Young Ladies of Fine Families, and other quotes from conduct books of the period.Lady Olivia Archer h [...]

    21. This book was just okay I loved learning about Olivia and the outrageous things she did to break the rules and scare off the Mad Baron Phinn who wanted to marry her Since he has been suspected of murdering his first wife, that is understandable Olivia, Emily, and Prudence make a great trio and the scenes with them were very enjoyable Unfortunately, I didn t get the appeal of Phinn He s basically a man who cares about his work on scientific machinery and discoveries than anything else ANYTHING [...]

    22. When Olivia s parents presents her with a betrothal she didn t expect, she doesn t know what to do When the groom to be turns out to have a dark and sinister reputation, Olivia goes to great lengths to stop the engagement A marriage isn t worth dying for, after all Phinn suffered when his first wife passed away, but he never expected the Ton to keep the rumours alive Wanting a new wife has him braving London once again, but he never expected what Olivia brings to the pairing Historical romance, [...]

    23. How have I never read Maya Rodale before This was a laugh out loud, cute romance with poor Olivia steps away from spinsterhood before locking eyes with the Mad Baron Phinn doesn t know that he s infamous, and takes some bad courting advice from the wrong friend, which makes it even funnier But the scene in which they first hold hands at the Opera made me fan myself, whew This is a sweet love story with both characters growing and learning I m really looking forward to Prudence s story, and to ca [...]

    24. Wallflower Gone Wild , a second in the Bad Boys and Wallflower series, was fun but not as much as the first story in this series It was almost as entertaining and charming but the heroine left me wanting. The hero was fine, yet he did and said a few things that made me question his love for the heroine. All in all, not bad and I do recommend it to all of you that have read the first story in this series The author continues with the lighthearted and entertaining bent to this series.Melanie for bbC [...]

    25. I honestly loved the novel It is very hard for me to switch to new classical authors, I still can t adapt to Sarah Maclean s writing, which most of the readers love So it came as a shock when I fell in love with Maya Rodale s novels An enthralling story and I am extremely thankful to my friend who recommended it

    26. I couldn t put this book down The author delivered humor on every page I would like to read all of Maya Rodale s books, in the hopes that each book is as much fun to read as Wallflower Gone Wild My only comment regarding improvement is for the line editing There are too many line editing mistakes But the line editing errors are not enough for me to give this book any less than five stars.
