    1. Got this book as a giveaway from Its a good short story, simple and neat Its concise with just the right amount of suspense for a short story Will definitely be looking forward to the next one in the series and hope to find about Zoe I hope such cases come where her character is revealed or even better if her past is a part of some crime.

    2. Grave Matter is quite a short story by Andrew Hixson I read once I got my copy It s only 24 pages long, so it s a quick and nice read, and it s obvious there won t be much action Still, the author tries to give us as much background as possible, which I appreciate I only wish it d be longer so the reader would get a bit of thrill trying to solve the mystery instead of being served the answer on the plate.

    3. It s a fast read which i completed in a single sitting.Even though the story is short, the author gave a detailed view of the situation and about the community in which John lives.I liked John, his memories of Zoe and his dedication to his work.I d love to know about John and Zoe.

    4. This story definitely reflected John Handful s grief at the loss of his wife It is quite short, and leaves the reader longing for a bit I like how the bond between husband and wife plays such a crucial part in the story.

    5. This is the first book that I ve read of Andrew Hixson It s a short story but it s one that grips you from the very beginning Read this book at one go Will be definitely checking books by this author

    6. The first of the John Handful short stories, nicely written but relies very heavily on information and knowledge that the main character already has rather than the reading of clues within the text which excludes the reader from trying to guess at the solution.
