    1. This was my favorite of the Thomas Prescott series Thomas takes his honeymoon cruise sans bride, being that they broke up shortly before the sailing date Sister, Lacy, went, instead Everything is going well except maybe for the entertainment onboard , when the ship is overtaken by pirates Thomas can hardly save his, his sister s and Baxter s their dog life without protecting all 400 passengers I, almost, quit reading after Book One mostly, due to language but now can hardly wait for another.

    2. while Thomas Prescott has become one of my favorite characters, this was not my favorite book in the series Yes, it was enjoyable, but I felt it lagged in some parts I think it largely had to do with me I am not a big fan of pirate stories With that being said, he did a great job of advancing what had potential to be a boring story Additionally, I found this very educational without being preachy if you are a fan of this fearless detective, certainly read and enjoy this book if you aren t famili [...]

    3. As Good as it He GetsWhich is HUGELY GOOD A gifted story teller, with a full, generous heart and a full, occasionally goofy, laugh out loud sense of humor I wish I could add that, while all the characters were vivid individuals, I fully understood the placement of each of their pieces of the puzzle and I m SURE it s MY doing but an essential character s essential father kept seeming to be alive, then killed, then behind everything, then dead, then a Navy Seal blown to smithereens twice then aliv [...]

    4. Another great novel by Nick Pirog I did get a little confused at first with all the new characters, but once I got further into the story it became much easier to remember who was who I see in comments on here and , people saying that Thomas was jilted at the alter and was on the cruise sans bride That s not true at all I m not really sure how they got that unless maybe they didn t read Grey Matter and therefore don t understand how Thomas acquired the tickets for the cruise in the first place a [...]

    5. Third of the series about Michael Prescott, who is a funny, self deprecating detective He gets into many wrong place at the wrong time situations, but somehow ends out on top at the end of the books usually pretty beaten up, broken bones, or sometimes chewed on When I started reading the first one, told my husband that perhaps they were guy books with all of the names he has for his private parts and always thinking how he can bed any woman under 40, but quickly became a fan Really looking forwa [...]

    6. The Afrikaans is not a bad novel but I can t bring myself to give it four stars The setting and the story line are interesting, but the delivery is uneven The ebook I read had several typos and errors, which was distracting I didn t like the big reveal at the end, where one or two characters explain what happened and present information that comes out of the blue.

    7. Another Hit from Nick PirogThis is the third of the Thomas Prescott novels, though not Mr Prescott s third book He s so talented that he has at least two other main characters that he writes stories around, and I m pretty sure they will be just as good as the Thomas Prescott series Don t miss this talented young writer he s good and is going to only going to get better.

    8. This book didn t disappoint but as the author said in the end notes, I was disappointed in only having half the story told by Thomas Prescottat man is funny as get out But I love Nick Pirog s books and can t WAIT to read of these characters I just can t get enough of Definitely recommend this book along with Unforeseen and Gray Matter

    9. I almost didn t read this one because I wasn t intrigued by the idea of a story set on a cruise ship But, I needed a Nick Pirog to read This was a very different environment with some nasty bad guys and interesting new characters Of course there is a bit of gore that you can t believe you re reading for pleasure and it has the excitement that keeps you up late.

    19. I definitely liked 1 and 2 better, but this one was still very good A narcoleptic pug can really make a novel

    20. While still a good book, this didn t suck me in like his previous two Thomas Prescott books did I like that the secondary characters are just as entertaining as the primary ones.

    21. Another entertaining read in the series A bit of a change from the first two, but the same entertaining monologue dialogue from the main character

    22. what can I say I love Thomas Prescott It has a great story line full of anticipation and adventure Another Great book by Nick Pirog.
