    1. I was pretty sure that i didn t like horror stories any, but oh boy, was I wrong I was hooked from the first page and stayed that way until the end of the book I became really fond of Cate Culpepper s writing style, and I have to start her Tristaine series sometime soon.

    2. Cate Culpepper is an automatic read for me I don t even need to check the synopsis I love the way she does paranormal romances And her fantasy series Tristaine is my all time favorite. This book features two couples from her past books both are favorites of mine and introduces a third couple If you have not read River Walker and A Question of Ghosts, read those first, to better appreciate the peculiar quirks of the two couples here Both are excellent introductions to the author s style Ms Culpepp [...]

    3. I liked the story overall I just felt that the pace was slow or it may also be because I don t know much about Windigo folklore I especially liked the scenes where view spoiler 1 Selly transferred the curse onto the main characters, 2 Maggie revealed this to them, 3 characters discussed folklore and omens 4 they were unaware that the curse was having a good go at them, and the last 5 chapters hide spoiler I d say that reading this requires patience The mood is subdued tense for the most part but [...]

    4. For me, this book has set the bar for horror stories The fact that I know very little about Native American legends or myths helped a LOT Fear of the unknown had a big effect Getting to see characters from other stories I loved was a treat, though, especially Jo I think what made it worse was waiting for one of them to do or turn into something horrible It kept me tense almost from the beginning There was a new romance, of course, but it was very subtle, almost ignored until the last part of the [...]

    5. Wow.This is my first book I have read of this author s I was really interested in the storyline and the characters This book kept my interest since the first page to the end I definitely recommend this book.

    6. I loved this book It was great to read characters from past novels by Cate Culpepper I have always been intrigued by the great mythology of the First Nations, and Windigo Thrall captures the myth of the cannibal beast.

    7. Salah satu pengarang yang entah kenapa, kadang ceritanya gampang dipahami, tapi kadang njelimet Ini, sayangnya masuk kategori kedua Tapi karena temanya menarik, dan karakternya likeable, termaafkan, lah.

    8. This is the third book by Cate Culpepper I ve read and at this point I ve decided that I don t really care about the blurb I m just going to read them all The only reason I decided to pick up this one instead of starting the Tristaine series was because I already knew four of the women and I love checking up on the lives of characters I ve already fallen in love with.I loved seeing their dynamic as established couples and how they reacted to each other view spoiler The only thing that bothered m [...]
