    1. This short story was a brilliant introduction to what I am sure is going to be a wild ride I have not read a short story for a long time and having read a lot of full length books lately I was disappointed when I reached the last page I have a love of all things Egyptian so when the story turned in that direction I sailed through and was finished before I wished to be As an introduction to an on going story I know that there will be many that have read this that will want to definitely keep read [...]

    2. This books starts off with a girl named Tari and her Grandpe, or grandpa, packing up to go to an old folks home The old man and her have a cute relationship, and I really enjoyed the cheeky banter back and forth I liked how the old man dragged his favorite, old chair with him to his new place Tari works at a shop where this girl who s kind of strange gives her this weird pouch full of herbs to help her sleep When she falls asleep she enters a whole new place Unsure if it s a dream or reality Tar [...]

    3. Scribe starts off slow, and as it picks up it really sets its own pace It s a comfortable read and I really found it enjoyable I found the dialog and relationships sharp, well defined, and vividly real Example ________________ It s like you are oozing magic Tari rolled her eyes Yes I am an all powerful witch, she said sarcastically No Not a witch, but something I can t explain it It s as if magic is your friend, Ivy continued She was staring at Tari but not at her Tari was getting ready to ask h [...]

    4. This is a brilliant short that serves as an introduction to the story or plot line It introduces 4 characters, twomoain protagonists and sets the story in the past ancient Egypt and the present New Orleans This is like a taster at a whine show Nothing this good can be spit out But dont take my word for it Get a copy and read it for yourself

    5. I loved this story Upon realizing it was a short story I was worried that it would be all action and not give us enough time to get back story I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had excellent pacing and was never boring The characters are relatable and well rounded Excited to read the next installment but brace your selves, the story is addicting and ends with a cliffhanger

    6. Scribe is a very powerful introduction to the descendants of the Scribe featured in Vexed Some of the text from Vexed is included in Scribe and there is absolutely no mistaking that the two short stories are part of one another Tari is a snarky character that also has a softer side when dealing with the last relative she has her grandfather She has reservations about placing him the Assisted Living Center but knows that this place is what s best for both of them Only, he leaves cryptic messages [...]

    7. It s a good story that I wish would have been a little longer, I think it took me about half an hour to read the whole thing If you re looking for an extremely quick read this book will do the trick quite nicely I felt the story flowed well and was pretty engaging.

    8. These needed a professional editor so badly it hurt to read.Could have been a good story Read them as an anthology though Glad it was free.
