    1. The Prince Charming Hoax blends everywoman s history of divorce with every other woman s sexual fantasy in a curiously appealing mix There s self help tucked in there as well with Leah determined to write that book while Rox is determined the live life free and to the full The mix of pained recital and vital action works surprisingly well, and, while the exchange of bodily fluids is graphic than I d choose, the tone of the writing is just right The characters are very real and relatable The guy [...]

    2. The main character in The Prince Charming Hoax switches from authoring a self help book to a novel, and that might be what happened with this book by Elyse Grant Shelley Lieber It s a story about two friends who just want a stable relationship in their lives, one stable than the other It is filled with erotic sex scenes, which is what many readers like and I thought they were pretty well done without being over the top I would have been happier with a little less detail but that is a personal p [...]

    3. This is an enticing read provided you are not turned off by erotica Those who dislike steamy sex, please look the other way But the main character, Leah, a very likeable character, a woman who has reached maturity but is still discovering what a man s love means, is beautifully set off by her clever and wildly impulsive friend Roxie together, they make quite a pair What makes Leah all the likeable is her love for her teenage daughter this is a rare relationship and an interesting one to see unf [...]

    4. I quite enjoyed reading The Prince Charming Hoax It s snappy dialogue, erotic sex scenes and contemporary story were easy to follow and kept me turning the pages I particularly identified with the character, Leah Her outlook on life and sense of humour were what kept me engaged throughout the story, which is why I gave this book 4 stars I d highly recommend this book to any female in the 20 age range who possess an open mind, due to the light erotica and love of contemporary romance novels Good [...]

    5. Maybe because I m not divorced and I don t have children, but I could not relate to any of the characters in this book I watch enough TV and read enough to know there really are women like this in America but it continually just makes me scratch my head Had I known these are the types of women in this book I was going to be made to read about, I never would have added it to my kindle Good thing it was free.Leah and Roxie are two career successful women going through a midlife crisis looking for [...]

    6. I got this book to review by the author The Prince Charming Hoax even though is a fictional story makes you think about life as a woman The story is about Leah and Roxie Two best friends who have men troubles in their own right Leah a divorcee and her best friend Roxie battle their own self doubts and the men they pick are inky part if their problems As they travel through their love lives They realize that their desires are right before their eyes and sometimes the people you can rely on are ri [...]

    7. I found this book really engaging though I didn t know it was an erotica novel until I reach the first sex scene and was like, Hello The thing I enjoyed the most was the complex relationships explored and how the author humanised and examined various romantic relationships that are cliche in so many other romance novels I also enjoyed the way one of the main character s journeys mirrored the author s, the air of authenticity was unmistakeable One thing some readers may have trouble with is the m [...]

    8. A note from Elyse Grant the author My novel, THE PRINCE CHARMING HOAX, began life as a nonfiction book by alter ego, Shelley Lieber, and was going nowhere fast I m a fiction writer and I d been waiting many years to emerge My opportunity finally showed up one day when Shelley was struggling to organize and present all the stories she had conducted from her real life interviews with divorced and separated women as research for the book I saw her falter in frustration and I quickly jumped out and [...]

    9. I found this book to be okay Some parts I enjoyed better than others I felt both lead female characters let the males in their lives run the show which in a way was the premise of the book I enjoyed it much better once the ladies took a stand for themselves The pacing was a little slow at times.

    10. I found this book to be just ok Overall I liked the message she was trying to convey, but I felt like there were way too many details I found myself skimming just to get through to the meat of the story I was a little surprised to find such steamy scenes sprinkled throughout Not that I don t appreciate steamy it just felt a bit out of place here.
