This is an odd book It s romance than fantasy but it doesn t overwhelm you with the sordid details of sex, which I appreciated However, the romance still felt like the same trite setup with no actual chemistry, just an overwhelming attraction to the other person In YA they d call that same farce love and expect us all to suspend disbelief for the length of the story The throwaway details in the story almost overwhelm the narrative, as if the author couldn t decide whether to describe every mund [...]
