Beautiful photography capture these stunning landscapes While I appreciated much of the information, the text breathes pragmatism that spirit The author mentions some ballads and poetry, but doesn t make the best use of them I was also distracted by a really very small font size I get it most readers probably don t actually READ these picture books, but the text might be engaging if it were a bit accessible I especially would have appreciated if the locations of photos were a little easier to [...]

A good book for an armchair tour of Ireland with many pictures that are, yes, spectacular Like a knowledgable guide, the succinct narrative added context and insight, which I especially appreciated in the chapters on prehistoric sites, monasteries and abbeys, and fortresses and castles The font size was a little small, though, for comfortable reading.

    3. Picked this book up pretty cheap as a bargain book I have always loved Ireland and this book has some wonderful pictures.
