This was a pretty good story, but the writing was simplistic it made the characters flat the dialogue wooden While there was a distinct lack of adverb flogging always a good thing , everyone was constantly addressing each other by name Where have you been, Jennifer On the terrace, Michael Jennifer, I told you never to go there alone as if the dearth of adverbial tags would somehow confuse the reader Maybe the author was trying to pad her word count Who knows That being said, it was entertaining [...]
