    4. This book helps students to learn what different emergencies are and the different people that help out during emergencies Children are able to see what policemen, firemen, and paramedics do and how they help the community This would be a great book to use in a kindergarten and first grade classroom when it is time to teach about community helpers.

    5. I read this book and thought it would be great to read to your kindergarden or first graders It is a great representation in the lower grade levels of what community helpers are and look like It would be a great children s literature integration within a lesson.

    6. What a great way to share what community helpers look like As this is a state standard, showing what community helpers are in second grade, this would be a great anticipatory set to read aloud to students Highly recommend this to any lower grade level teacher
