    1. I recently finished reading this book and have to say I enjoyed it I wasn t sure it would be for me as the hero is only 14 years old, but it s so well written and the concept so original that the story unfolded so smoothly Pretty soon I d forgotten how young Mouch actually was I was reminded of Harry Potter and his buddies as Mouch began making friends in his new Psychic School instead of Magic School and became aware of his impending doom at the hands of the evil Pith instead of he who shall no [...]

    2. Book Info Genre Urban FantasyReading Level Older Middle Grade to younger Young Adult 13 14 on up Recommended for Fans of Harry Potter, people who enjoy stories about young adults with powersTrigger Warnings Bullying, murder attempts, violenceMy Thoughts This book will inevitably draw comparisons to Harry Potter, since the psychic abilities of many of the characters will seem much like magic, and like Harry, Mouch has no parents to be seen Of course, we have no idea what happened to Mouch s paren [...]

    3. Is this book insane and just for schizophrenic people or am I just dreaming LOLIn any way, Mouch is a nice book Although, I find the name cute and weird at the same time The book s very well constructed and very funny I love Sherman and his sarcastic mouth and I love Mav, he s just always there and ready to fight just to keep Mouch safe I could say, I wanted them as friends but that d be weird cos Sherman is a sock puppet and Mav is somewhat formed like a shadow and they are Mouch s imaginary fr [...]

    4. I was given and e copy in exchange for my honest review The book revolves around a 14 year boy names Mouch, that has been locked up at the Talsom Mental Asylum He has 2 close friends there with him, Mav His shadow friend, and Sherman a sock puppet He has no clue of anything before being at mental asylum, but standing in the middle of a mall wearing nothing but polka dotted boxers, bunny slippers, a hat made of news paper, and being covered in blood After some amount of time in the asylum, he is [...]

    5. What I enjoyed most about this book was its creativity It is full of interesting little details that make the story what it is, and it is one that I, for one, am very glad I read.Mouch is a fascinating character He has a dry, witty sense of humor that endears him to the reader and which makes us care about his future His friends, an actual, talking sock puppet among them provide lots of comedic dialogue and nice moments They are all rather original, so it was a pleasure to get to know them throu [...]

    6. I received this book in a GoodReads first read giveaway That being said, I LOVED this book I was intriqued with the concept from the beginning and I was not disappointed The main character actually three main characters in one are truly brilliant creations I loved how Mouch, Sherman and Mav interacted with one another and conversed as three separate entities My favorite character by far was Sherman the sock puppet He was funny and made me laugh out loud quite a few times His attitude and witty s [...]

    7. Let me start by saying that Mouch and Company is very much outside of what I would normally read I generally like a book to contain quite a bit of romance along with some paranormal elements But that being said, I m so glad that Bob Dixon gave me the opportunity to read his book It is so very different Incredibly original I loved the interaction between Mouch, Mav and Sherman I think that I would have to say that I loved Sherman The sock puppet best His wit and dry sense of humour had me ginning [...]

    11. I really enjoyed this book It is easy to read and I didn t want to put it down Mouch as the young hero takes you with him on an adventure that is full of twists and turns and nothing is ever as it seems I would definitely recommend this book to teenagers who could relate to Mouch as he is only 14 but also to adults just because it s a good read not to be missed.

    12. Mouch was a wonderful read What a great and innovative story line I enjoyed everything about this book The story, the characters, the twists and turns of the plot I hope the author is planning Mouch books with adventures and information about Mouch The Early Years.

    15. It took me far too long to read this book By that, I mean from the time I received the book, not from the time I started I wasted so much time This is because while I thought the book sounded interesting, I wasn t sure it was really for me The main character, Mouch, is 14 I think , the same age as my daughter I tend to read books that have characters a little closer to 18 I knew the subject matter was a little on the different side, but I worried just how different it was Would I be able to conn [...]

    17. My wife won this in a Good Reads First Reads, and after she read it she passed it on to me This was an excellent book The characters were wonderful, they all have distinct and very interesting personalities Sherman the sock puppet is amazing and I loved the way he would speak I liked Mouch to, it was nice to see that despite having a very troubled childhood he is polite and relatively well behaved Mouch s friends have interesting personalities and the relationships are all handled very well A co [...]

    18. This is not the kind of book i would normally go for but I got asked to review it and I got a nice surprise This book is about Mouch and his friends that live in his head Mouch thinks these friends are real because he has slight schizophrenia Poor Mouch is in an asylum because of this and his only friends are a sock puppet and his shadow Mouch gets a visitor in the asylum who says he is not crazy but phsychic and he is set free, but finds him self in the middle of a battle between god and bad ps [...]

    19. Without any offense to either author, I feel this book is like the Harry Potter of physic realms There s loony bins and sock puppets and invisible friends who can knock people over for you what s not to love Throw in an academy for kids with psychic abilities, an intriguing villain, and some rather trippy dreams and you have the recipe for this fun story It was fast paced enough that I could read it while working out on the treadmill not many books can say that I enjoyed the fresh, interesting c [...]

    20. I was not a big fan of this book It reminded me too much of another book series I had read It was very easy for me to figure out you the inside man was in the group and who was controlling him It was just kinda boring for me I wasn t into any of the characters I just didn t really care if the bad guy was defeated or not Really wasn t that good of a read for me.

    21. It started off going one way and then about half way through it started going another and it ended really good I was actually kinda meh at the beginning but it picked up and it really ended well enough for me to give it a solid 4.5 stars.
