    1. I really enjoy the Scene of the Crime series Each book is interesting and a quick, fun read Mystic Lake was no exception The characters were engaging and the story was fast paced Amberly Nightsong, native American single mother and FBI profiler, has been sent to Mystic Lake to help solve a series of murders The reason she was sent to Mystic Lake was her native American ties The serial killer is posing the murdered women with dream catchers hanging above the bodies There are three victims and the [...]

    2. Good book Both Amberly and Cole had given up on love Cole because of the guilt he felt over his wife s death, and Amberly because she didn t think it would last When she was called in to assist with the murder investigations, she and Cole had to work together He wasn t thrilled because he had had a bad experience with the FBI He also discovered that something about her got under his skin and made him start to feel again When the serial killer went after Amberly, Cole realized that he had come to [...]

    3. In Cassidy s romantic suspense novel, FBI profiler Amberly Nightsong is sent to Mystic Lake as a consultant to the local cops regarding three ritualistic murders Sheriff Cole is a widower, shut off from romantic involvement and focused only on the job Working side by side, Cole is drawn to the single mom and as the killer targets her through her son, Cole will do anything to save them both Fast paced, twists and turns, passion an excellent story

    4. A nice romantic suspense, with emphasis on the relationship between the heroine, an FBI profiler, and the hero, a sheriff with a string of murders on his hands It was well written and enjoyable, with a series of solid secondary characters and a few good red herrings However, the resolution was fairly unrealistic and, yet, predictable as the book developed There were also parts where the story seemed to sag, where the principle characters seemed to just hang around waiting for something, which mi [...]

    5. The book grabbed my attention from the very first page The setting and the characters dragged me deep into the book I could not put the book down as I was trying to figure out who the evil person is kidnapping law enforcement The last page left me hooked waiting to pick up the next in the series to see what happened next

    6. It supposed to be romance book, but there wasnt much romance in this book It was mostly about mystery detective stuff
