The title is somewhat misleading since the volume is, for all practical purposes, a European atlas The atlas, which overlays geological, topographical, ethnographical, cultural, political etc, etc, data on continental, state and province maps is so comprehensive, detailed and smart in its graphic organization it impresses as the finest historical atlas I ve come across Indisputable for the serious researcher of European history.
