    1. Here is a good collection of short stories from the Queen of Crime nothing too taxing on the brain While I find the Miss Marple tales a little too sweet for my taste the Poirot ones are quite entertaining My favourite story is Three Blind Mice, which takes place in an isolated country house during a snow storm Although I prefer the play it became The Mousetrap there are some nice touches of humour amid the drama.

    2. Three Blind Mice was my first Christie It was a fitting introduction to the Queen of Crime s world that would hold me enthralled through my teens Three Blind Mice is not a very long book it does not have to be, because every word in this little novella has purpose no sentence is superfluous or wasted A true master does not need long flowery paragraphs to set the scene, create the right atmosphere, or to bring the characters alive She does not need to ramble on for pages to distract the reader fr [...]

    4. Kitab n ilk yar s ndaki Fare Kapan , oyun olarak en uzun s re sahnelenme rekoruna sahip bir hikaye Bence kurgu ok g zel, tahmin edilebilirli i y ksek olsa da elinizden d m yor Kitab n ikinci yar s ise Tommy ve Tuppence n hikayeleri Bu hikayelerin tamam n i eren kitab da bununla ald mdan biraz can s k c ama sonu ta eksik kalmayacak imdi Tommy ve Tuppence serisini elden ge irmenin vakti geldi.

    5. Three Blind Mice was my favorite of the stories followed by Third Floor Flat I believe this one was read by David Suchet who is an AMAZING Poirot both those stories get 4 stars, both for story and for narration The others stories were okay, with my least favorite being the 4 Miss Marple stories read by someone who sounded seriously drunk and slurred most of her words, and when you are listening to English actors reading Ms Christie, you want a LITTLE enunciation than what was coming out of her [...]

    7. 4.5 stars.Several books by Agatha Christie have such brilliant twists that it s impossible to forget them, no matter how many years later you re read them Mousetrap is one of them however, this second read was still highly enjoyable, also because I did not remember much about the plot in general.Besides a fantastic twist which is, truth be told, quite impossible to guess but it remains incredible the play also has great characters I must say I had forgotten all of them, but this second time I wa [...]

    9. This collection of short stories features not only Hercule Poirot, but also Miss Marple and Harley Quin The Stories.Three Blind Mice Molly and Giles Davis are proud to be renovating their aunt s home and opening it as a guest house It gives them an excuse to keep the mansion and to make money on the side It isn t until their first set of guests are settled in that a police officer arrives telling them that among their tenants is a murderer who has killed before and is planning to kill again Stra [...]

    10. This was my first Agatha Christie book a fairly quick read, and I liked starting off with a book full of short stories We just bought a stack of Agatha Christie books from the thrift store, so I ll have to keep reading.

    12. See this review and others areLiving Is Reading 2.5 starsThree blind mice, three blind mice, see how they run,see how they run. They all ran after the farmer s wife, she cut off their tails with a carving knife.Did you ever see such a sight in your life,as three blind mice Is this really by the same woman who wrote And Then There Were None The aforementioned title is the only other work of Christie s that I ve read, and it was one of my favorite reads of last year, as well as all time So, after comp [...]

    16. Three Blind Mice And Other Stories Well for my first Classic Mystery I am astonished at my lack of detective skills I was mistaken in the plot let alone who A married couple, Davis s, inherit a mansion They decide to try their hand at being owners of a bed and breakfast to pay the bills They initially have three guest and an unexpected guest that show up in the middle of a storm.Mrs Boyle is a character, she knows the Davis s are new as host and she loves to point this out.The other character th [...]

    17. Re listen Jan 22 20171st listen May 4 16 2016More mysteries featuring a variety of shorts from Agatha Christie including The title story Three Blind MiceThe Tape Measure MurderCase of the CaretakerThird Floor FlatThe Adventure of Johnny WaverleyFour and Twenty BlackbirdsThe Love Detectives Mr Harlequin featuredNarration from familiar voices with authentic Brit accents add to the listening enjoyment Hugh Fraser, David Suchet, Joan Hickson, Simon Vance.

    18. The title story is pretty nice, a classic Agatha Christie though somehow short Would have love it to be a bit longer As for the rest of the collection, I was quite torn I listened to the Audio version, and 4 of them are narrated by Joan Hickson No doubtfully a wonderful Miss Marple actress, but I could not understand anything she said in the audio, I skipped all 4 stories Overall, I might pick this one up as a printed book one day I think I will enjoy it much .

    19. Originally published in 1950, this is a collection of Short Stories beginning from 1925 One of them, Three Blind Mice, is long enough to be considered a novella I am not going to give a summary of short stories, but suffice to say that my rating is an average, since even I, who am not usually a high rater of mysteries or shorts stories, would give a few of these 4 stars, but some only 2.Overall, I enjoyed this book.
