I gave this book 4.2 This is book 4 of the Sister Joan series.As usual, it goes a little slow at the beginning,but it speeds up after a few chapters.As a wanna be nun, I love these books The detail of the cloistered life has always fascinatedme, the detail the better Even if I know thatno real cloister would allow their nuns to run aroundsolving crimes, let alone allowing one person all thelatitude shown here, it is a nice relaxing read I must notbe as I used to be because I haven t been able t [...]

    2. Images of Cornwall and Convent LifeThe Sr Joan series is tense and desolate but calming and peaceful at same time This is one convent series that is cozy , but not cutesy I d love to visit this place.

    3. Though the mysteries are always good, I don t think I ll be reading any of these She just dwells WAY too much on her version of religion.

    5. BLEAKHOUSE and MIDDLEMARCH are great reading, but sometimes I want LITE British novelsis series fits the bill.

    6. This one was of a C and I did not like it as well as the others Let s see how far I can go in this series.
